 A small smiled rose on James face as he looked at the exit then began walking. "It's not a matter of if we find your friends, it's a matter of what condition will they be in. One is likely dead..." James reached the exit. "If I do not return within two hours, I am dead." James turned his back to her and walked out towards the palace humming "I'm off to see the empress, the horrible empress of Rome." He had chosen to skip step to. He would kill the empress now... (Exit to palace.)

  Kenda headed back down to Paulie. "What'd you two talk about?" she asked sleepily. "He asked me...if I had the choice, would I have kept him from our Tavern." Kenda replied slowly. "Did you say yes? I would have said yes." Paulie turned onto her side, propping her head up on her hand. "I wonder...if that would have been best."

"He did what?!" Adelaide jumped up from where she was sitting next to Kenda and Paulie. Kenda shrugged. "That's the way he went."
"Okay okay, so after fighting off a lion and wolf, the guy goes off to murder the Empress?! Great ******** Zeus!"
"If the b*****d wants to get killed, I'd say we let him. He's given me a close enough call." Paulie commented.
"I gotta stop him or...or something! Oh gods...Vortak is gonna kill him."
"Sounds like you care about the guy." Paulie said, raising an eyebrow.
"Shut it Paulie" Adelaide snapped. "I'm not about to let another one out of my sight."
"A man or a gladiator friend?"
"Paulie!" Adelaide clambered out of the armory and set off for the Palace.

James walked into the Dungeon holding the Empress. She was still out from the fall. He chained her hand up in his old cell then he chained her feet down. He left he cloths on unlike the guards had done to him. "Kenda do you think you can fix her." James shouted. The horse had complained about carrying Seth and the Empress so James carried the Empress back to the dungeon. Seth shouldn't have been to far behind.

 Adelaide paused before going into the dungeon area. She had been here once before, when Rozz still fought. She had gotten slightly lost in the arena and wound up in this dark place. Even though it had only been moments that she had been there, the memory haunted her. She shivered, before going in. Kenda looked up from where she had started preparing a meal for the returning people. She walked over to the Empress. "Fix her?" she asked, "Fix what?" The Empress looked fine, unconscious, but other than that, fine.

"Good point..." James slapped the empress and shouted "WAKE UP ROYAL ASSBUTT!!!" He knew it wouldn't work but it made his feel better about his choice. "How about now, is she hurt now?" He asked. Part of him was scared that his wolf was dead...

Kenda crossed her arms disapprovingly. "Do you want to wake her up, or continue yelling? It's one or the other, yelling at a person is not the best way to deal with them."

Kenda considered. "Probably. Would you like something to eat first?" she nodded back towards her earlier position. "There's something I'd like to talk to you about."

"Ok..." James said walked to where Kenda nodded. He wasn't sure what she was thinking, she could be mad, happy, scared, curious, or furious. IT was about the time he walked over there that Fluffy trotted into the dungeon and sat down looking at the empress.

Kenda placed a plate of food in front of him, glancing over at the wolf. "Good to know he's okay." she mentioned. Adelaide snatched a roll from the plate and sat herself down. Kenda gave her a look, "I'll get you some to." "Good...I don't think he'll want this one back though."

James sat and looked at fluffy. They both seemed to shake then fluffy made a gagging noise. James laughed and fell over in his chair then sat back up holding his arm. " Damn wolf bites...."

Adelaide looked over at James, shaking her head. She sat cross-legged and started in on the plate of food. "You planning on eating. Because I could probably finish off yours two." she inched toward it.

James pushed it over to her, he wasn't hungry. He was simply waiting for the Empress to wake up so he could explain to her why she wasn't dead and why she wouldn't die soon. Plus he needed a little help finding the members of the senate. Then he received a letter. One he had seen on the wolf's paw. He unwrapped it and read it. Then he threw it to the wall and began running. He picked up his weapons on the way.
