"How about, since I'm the only teenager here so far, I give everyone a hand when they need it? That'll make it more fair, right?" Kash said to Jordi. She liked these kids so far, they seemed enthusiastic about it. Enthusiasm was great!
"Oh, alright," Jordan said, heading for one of the chairs and climbing into it. She had to, she was that short. Then she stood on the chair, now at eye level with most of the kids. "So where do we start?" she asked the kid that seemed to be in charge. Josh or something, right?

"Alright, Mr. Elliot," Joshua amended, giving the man a smile. He would have continued his introductions, but he was quickly distracted as his two best friends arrived. "I'll be back, Mr. Elliot," he promised the adult. "Ginger, Zemel!" he called, hurrying to them. "You've finally come!" All of his host-formality had gone and left. He gave each of them a bright smile. "You're late!" he teased. "There aren't any more gingerbread houses for you." There was a pause, before he gave another smile. "Okay, I lied. There are. Come on!"
He glanced at Jordan, and flashed a smile in her direction as well. "You can start anytime," he assured her. "Maybe we'll have my mom judge the best gingerbread house afterward." Of course, he wouldn't enter that contest. He knew his mother could be biased.
Zee gave Elliot a smile. "Nice to meet you as well," he said with a nod. "I'm Zee. I see my nephew's introduced me already, though."
Devin looked to Cai, bright eyes widening. Pirates could fly? He'd never even imagined it. Though the most he knew of pirates were the ones in Peter Pan. Those flew--kind of. They had a flying boat, anyway. "Pirateth fly?" he asked in a whisper, marshmellow goop falling from his chin to his once clean t-shirt. "We gonna make a pirate candy houthe," he told her. "Kay? We make betht one ever!"
