I have two "turnaround" shifts next week where I work say 10 to 6 and then only have eight hours before they want me back in again for a 2-10. I hate those. Why even send me home? At least if I work a double, yeah it sucks but I get a decent amount of SLEEP when it is all said and done. I don't know about you but I can't just shut up and go to sleep straight after work. I need at least two hours to wind down. If I eat anything I have to stay up even longer than that or I'll feel all gross.
Next week is going to be SUPER LAME because some one thinks they're *special* and requested the 25th which is Christmas off.. any other time I've worked at a place open on holidays no one was allowed to request them off. Everyone has to suffer. Builds character. Whatever, it isn't even my holiday maybe I'll get lucky and catch the 21st off. Winter Solstice AND my dad's b-day so that would be cool. So it probably won't happen. ><
I dunno it just bugs me. The Christmas thing..
because this guy is a total WASTE anyway, smarts off to the boss and I can't prove it but I think he steals.
Pretty sure he smokes pot when he stocks the cooler because it smells like it and yeah. Dude shouldn't even have a job as far as my opinion goes.

We get the x-mas break off, we knock off dec 21st and i got enuf leave till january 18th
got the same problem a apprentice i teach is usually stoned alot amazing how they keep the job

Wouldn't really *care* about him being a total stoner if he didn't do it at WORK
While I don't smoke and think it's stupid - hey it's his life right? Just do that sh!t on your own time.
Don't half a** your tasks at work and leave me to clean up after you. I get the feeling I'll end up having words with this young man sooner rather than later because I can't abide such selfishness. I actually heard him freak out on his mom because she wasn't cooking dinner for him that night. Granted that has nothing to do with work but everything to do with his LACK of character. I wish I could just.. challenged him to a cage match. Ha! Leave it all in the ring. Plus, him getting his a** handed to him by a chick would be just perfect. That would be so great. I don't have any proper training but I've scrapped with dudes who actually know how to fight. I think this kid would fold in on himself as soon as I really started to wail on him.
