I was more disappointed that there actually aren't any books like that for real :C
I know I'm not the only one who searched for them after that episode~

I never searched for them, but I said if they ever made any like that I would SO buy them.
Perhaps they'll do like buffy did and when the show ends they'll "continue" the series will like, comic books or real books. Real books would be so cool. I would read those suckers in a heart beat.

There are a couple of SPN novels already. And I have both of the comic books. Origins is a bit s**t, Rising Son is brilliant. Or it could be the other way round.

Original case novels. They're set in season one or two, I think. I haven't read them myself though.

Well, I know about the case novels, but I was mostly talking about the ones they had on the show.

I love Chuck. Chuck is awesome, regardless of the problems his creation spawned. He has had the best line I've heard in a long time.
"It's not Jumping the Shark if you never come back down." ... fly free.

a walking blasphemy That would make a hell of a lot of sense. Which is probably why they haven't done it, when have the Winchesters ever done anything the easy way? Thing is, shouldn't it work both ways as well? Why doesn't Chuck warn them about some of these things which are coming? i agree with you

LOVE CHUCK!!! I so thought they were going to use him durring this season to know what going to happen. But no, they didn't. And then (ahhhh! I can't remember her name right now) but she just randomly tells them where the colt is. HELLO! They should have know to check the books or ask chuck or whats her name.
I so want what Blues says that he will appear at the end and know what to do and save everyone's a**. And then Dean and Sam have to let Chuck write the next collection of Supernatural books. 3nodding Plus F@*&$ what Zacharias says, Castiel is going to steal his job anyway.....according to Blasphemy.
I so have to go to Borders now and find these supernatural books and read over and over. xd

didn't read everyone responces so what I'm going to "Add" may have already been discussed.
The reason chuck did not tell the boys all the things which were going to happen is mainly because of Zach, He simply says if you try to tell them we will stop you, what he means by stop however is still unknown, Parhaps he would lock chuck away in the same kind of place he was holding dean before sam started the appoc. (A room with no doors or windows, just a computer printer bed and alcohol.)
Anyways I'm pretty sure that Zach can not physically hurt chuck because he does have an archangel protecting him (Assuming the archangel is not zach) Also when chuck threatens to kill himself zach says "Don't be so over dramatic, we would only bring you back to life.) So obviously chuck is more important that hes given credit for in his intro.
I'm actually thinking that it is through chuck that Zach hopes to lead the angels to victory, whether it be through finding a way to make Dean give himself to Micheal or how to kill the devil which at this point we dont know. Again I'm assuming it will only be possible if Lucifer is in his true vessal, being sam. of course it is a little early to tell but I say if this is the last season it ends bloody and painful.
Back to chuck...We know that Chuck still has a role to play but whayt it entails has yet to be revealed to us, until we figure out the rest of zach's powers and what he plans to really do with chuck he will remain in the shadows but mark my words he will be part of a larger revalation in the near future.

Ka-Mai Sai He has had the best line I've heard in a long time.
"It's not Jumping the Shark if you never come back down." That line made me laugh so hard. I adore Chuck. I don't really like the brain-bending metaplot he represents, what with the boys discovering fanfiction and all (it just makes me squirm uncomfortably), and yet I really like the essence of his character. I think, if I were Sam or Dean, I wouldn't want to read the books. I wouldn't want the rehashing of everything I'd been through, and I wouldn't want to know what was coming. What if the Apocalypse is doomed to happen after all? What if it will all be for nothing in the end? I'd still want to keep fighting, not knowing how it was all going to play out. *shrugs* Just me.
