I've always hated when my family tickled me, I felt my space was violanted. I'd rather be tickled by my close friends and my bf.

I dont really like being tickled by my family, but it use to happen quite a lot. Not so much anymore, luckily biggrin

WolfG I've always hated when my family tickled me, I felt my space was violanted. I'd rather be tickled by my close friends and my bf. I kinda feel that way too.....lol it's so strange though, because our family is so important. why would we rather be tickled by friends/bfs, then family? haha idk why, I guess 'cause we live with them all the time, but I agree with you. Currently, I'm only interested in tickling with my friends.

Currently, I'm only interested in tickling with my friends. I never really got along with my family, so when they tickled me (as a kid) it was just awkward..*shivers* Yeah, VERY awkward.. Like, I know I can screw around with my friends and be intimate/close with my bf, but I hardly show any emotion around my rents. So when I DO laugh like crazy around my rents, it's just..weird. XD

The last time a family member tickled me it was when I was around 10 or so. I'd always felt a bit weird about my parents tickling me, because while I liked the tickling itself, for some weird reason it felt... strange.. if they did it. So whenever any of my family tickled me after a certain age, I learned to shut off my reactions and ignore it.
No one really bothers tickling you for long if you don't respond immediately, so if I didn't seem to be paying attention for at least ten or fifteen seconds, they would give up and generally didn't do it again.

WolfG stare Lucky..I can't ignore it no matter what..I'm too ticklish. XD Oh, I can't do it FOREVER, but if it's family I can ignore it for several seconds before it obviously affects me. And usually people get bored if you don't instantly jump or squirm, at the very least, so they give up before I give in. It's tougher to hold out against friends or S.O.s, though. sweatdrop

Which can be embarrassing around some people. Like, when my bf attacked my ribs after he got off work (Ross), I ran into the clothes rack XDDDD He said that I glomped it.. rolleyes

I remember that my dad used to tickle me a lot when I was young, although I think he stopped after I reached the age of six or eight. My mother occasionally tickles me, but that rarely happens, and even then, I don't like it. Only one time has my brother tickled me, and even then, he acted more like the restraints while his girlfriend tickled me. Now THAT is awkward.
