My name is Jasmine and I live in Alaska. I'm 18 years old.
I have been a vegetarian in the past, but am not currently. I am transitioning back to vegetarianism now, (Vegetarian now) and hope to tough it out and go all the way to a vegan diet. My mom didn't used to be very accepting of the vegetarian diet, but now she is even fine with me wanting to be a vegan. biggrin Where I live it is hard to come by people who are accepting of veg*ns, it's sad. >.<
I'm sure Sarah Palin made that very obvious...
My reasons for choosing to transition to a vegan diet are mainly for health, self-discipline, and it's a good excuse to learn how to cook. Haha

Hello! Glad your mom is supportive, that always helps! I bet that part of Alaska is beautiful. I've always wanted to move further north myself, good excuse to drink hot chocolate and cuddle all the time.
