Woohoo! Keep in mind puppy=destruction. I'd wait on new furniture, carpets or sanding/painting wood floors until the pup is grown up. Or only get new stuff in rooms the pup won't be allowed.
the furniture that comes with the house is pretty old and kind of ratty so i really dont care too much about it, however the stuff in the living room we may sell or keep until my sister gets her own place so i think ill block that room off.
my deadbeat uncle and his family took most of the nice furniture even though they havent helped my grandmother move or anything since the summer. im still pretty pissed at them. the rest of us have been working our asses off and he and his family have just been making excuses then on the last day of cleaning they only come to take most of the stuff. i had to send my sister to protect the things i wanted to keep
Some of my aunts family did that when my grandmother's farm house was willed to someone else. There were things for them, but not ALL the freakin' furniture.
