yeah, my name is vincent vega
name; vincent anthony vega nickname; vinny; vin
age; 17 birthday; june 11 sign; gemini gender; male power; noxkinesis
height; 5'10" weight; 145 lbs hair color; black hair style; hiding his eyes eye color; dark blue skin tone; pale enough to signal those in outer space build; skinny, very skinny dress; always dressed like its cold out, even in the dead of summer...he doesn't get out much, no
personality; First and foremost, Vinny is a sarcastic jerk and he is a chronic complainer to the highest degree. If that wasn’t grating enough, his desire to do absolutely nothing about it only magnifies Vincent’s…less attractive qualities. It’s almost like he’s determined to be miserable; a little bit of a conspiracy theorist, he does not believe in inherent goodness. Everyone must have a motive for doing something; he certainly does!
Nothing comes without a fee and if Vincent does you a favor be shocked and amazed expect him to call you up on it later. The only thing Vinny seems to truly enjoy is learning. He’s always enjoyed books, but just about any topic will satisfy him. His true talent actually lies in chemistry; actions, reactions, products, pathways, it all makes sense to him. Actions and reactions are how he lives. Now, the American won’t own up to this. He’s been put in a stereotype that has something to do with his clothes and Vincent, being the epic complainer who does nothing about anything, hasn’t made a single effort to dissuade the masses. In fact, he’s even tried to take up poetry, or fictional writing and while his creativity might be something quite wild (just have a look at some of his theories!), he’s terrible at putting them down on paper.
Vinny’s always bundled up, which gives people the impression he has something to hide. While it was really only practical to bury his skinny little body under layers of clothing in the frigid arctic plains of Wisconsin, Vincent began to wonder if he was supposed to be hiding something. (Queue the borderline-paranoia.) As much as he lashes out when anyone tries to pass judgment on him, most of Vincent’s actions are actually reactions, repercussions of something he’s seen or heard or experience. He runs on knowledge, on wisdom form previous encounters, so when faced with a new situation, he’s prone to an uncharacteristic amount of energy in the form of panic. He never sees the silver-lining and he always predicts the worst outcome of scenarios (he’s a realist, not a pessimist!), which gives Vin the tendency to overreact to unfavorable situations.
While classified as emo, Vincent’s not homicidal or suicidal or even remotely violent. His taste in music in practically nonexistent and his apathy for the world at large simply stems from a dissatisfaction about the way things happen and a concerning lack of effort to change the things Vin finds distasteful. He’s really not emo at all, he’s obnoxious and he’s lazy not very motivated. In fact, it might be said that applying to Majesco was the first act of true ambition Vincent’s ever shown.
It should be noted that Vinny hates milk, absolutely refuses to drink it, still sleeps with a nightlight and has never been kissed. He is not gay, contrary to popular belief, though he may or may not still believe in cooties, to a degree.
hobbies; reading, whining, theater, bitching...
likes; cold weather, warm clothing, chocolate, books, nighttime, his nightlight dislikes; summer, public displays of affection, cows, barns, milk, anything that reminds him of wisconsin, BEING JUDGED
font color; indigo
theme song; --

don't judge me!
Born and raised in the middle of nowhere, Wisconsin, Vincent has lived a terribly boring life. No, seriously. It was terrible. He’s far enough north that he will claim it’s winter most of the year, and what sort of environment is that to raise a child in, anyways?
The youngest of three, and the only son, Vincent has been required to help with barn chores since he was old enough to walk. Be it helping his sisters by carrying pales of milk (yes, he was raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, could his life possibly be anymore cliché?), milking the cows himself or chopping firewood, the young boy was always doing something if he wasn’t off at school. School came as a relief to the child; it was warm and little physical exertion was required of him.
Recess and gym were never Vincent’s friends. He’d much prefer to read a book or take a nap; he got enough of the frigid outdoors at home. (Just because it isn’t winter all year round doesn’t make up for the fact that it is winter most of the year!) However, gym and recess were requirements and Vincent was required to participate. He remains convinced this was the foundation of his separation of his peers and the End of his Chance at a Normal Life. (Given, the cow farm might have had something to do with it too, but he was willing to overlook that to blame it on the system.)
The years went on. Nothing was expected of the scrawny runt and he did not exceed expectations. Vincent made it to high school relatively unscathed. Oh, yes, he had the occasional run in with boys larger, stronger, and faster than he, but his tongue was sharper and if he didn’t manage to dig himself a deeper grave, he usually fended the bullies off. (We are not mentioning the three times he got shoved in a locker the first year of middle school. That is filed under Things We Never Speak Of and, considering the title, it shall not be spoken of. We are also not talking about those two times it happened his freshman year, either. In case you were wondering.) All in all, high school was a better place. Vincent was termed an ‘emo’ and he was left alone, lest he blow everyone to smithereens like the guidance counselors always warned everyone about.
We pause here to note that Vinny has never been inclined to blow anyone up, let alone an entire high school (even if it’s in East Nowhere and about the size of a penny). His days were a monotony of going to class, his afternoons consisted of barn chores, his evenings consisted of reading. Reading and noticing the shadows seemed to react to his whims, if he really focused hard enough. Not long after this discovery did he encounter a special summer camp shortly after his junior year at high school. While Vincent would truly prefer to spend his summer inside, reading, and not outside in the sun (he doesn‘t tan, he burns!), his choices were summer camp or months filled with barn chores. The choice was obvious and, to his great surprise, a true stroke of good luck. It was at this camp that Vinny learned of Majesco Academy, a place he could continue to work on his special abilities (and hopefully spend less time ignoring the existence of the world at large). Nowhere to go but up, Vincent applied, ignoring the warning about ‘tough training’. It was free, first of all. Secondly, it was bound to be more interesting than the high school drama hell he was currently living in and, most importantly, it was not in the middle of Nowhere, Wisconsin.
Vincent A. Vega was totally game. (Insofar as Vincent A. Vega is game for anything, really.)
