Okay just a random question from the top of my head I am a Empath but is it possible to mimic the psychic energy of another person with psychic abilities by just simply using empathy. Now just a thought thats all.

no i think tritian is trying to ask wether it is possible to mimic a persons energy to feel what they feel a simple way of expanding on his/her own abilities in general

The gifted brother answered my question. It is possible for some Empaths to do it but it does require a good amout of concentration and training. Psychic abilites are also tied to emotions. What will also help is if you have close friends who posses psychic abilities. It is a neat thing but also a hard thing to do. Now that i know the answer I wonder the possiblities.

I've wondered about this before as well as I seem to take on the characteristics of people I'm around. I also seem to grasp things really well and have a very quick learning curve after I've just read about them or seen them done. I don't think this is necessarily "supernatural" or "psychic" but I think it would be interesting to apply in such a way.
Sadly, I don't have the opportunity to be in proximity to people with psychic abilities. Also, I've noticed that after a while all of the above seems to "wear off" to some extent. Probably because I stop using it so much.

But it is hard to do I tend to get confused and get over wellmed.

Probably because I stop using it so much. obscurus what you are experiencing is somthing that is kinda like photographic memory. i have a question have you ever tried writing somthing and then figuring out how long it takes for you to forget what you wrote for extended periods of time like say you write two words down and then see if you can remember them say a month later. try that and see if you can if so then you actually have a photographic memory which can come in handy with the psychic abilities

But it is hard to do I tend to get confused and get over wellmed. he is actually right on why they "wear off" he stopped using them as much but you are right there are ways of bringing the memorys of the action or thought or whatever back and at times they can be very easy but normally are very hard uhhm i suggest at least a half hour of meditating then try a past regression that only looks back a couple hours or days that might help instead of in your past life do the past hour or day
