You shouldn't just go on word play. D=
Weak deductive reasoning. Very weak. That wouldn't stand in court.

Yeah your right.. the only thing I can think of is the victim is tori man since he said it wasn't tori its Saru (monkey) . Maybe a two person job, the guy I assumed (mizunoe) was doing illegal transactions as found in his bank book by the tori man...that leads to blackmail, meeting, and a stabbing with mizunoe dressed as tori man. The things that will nail Mizunoe is the receipt for a bento in the discarded jacket pocket. In addition, the "Shin" of Mizunoe Shinji can be written with multiple characters so only someone who read the name (in the passbook for instance) would know it was the character for monkey (申) instead of one of the many other kanji that can be used to write it. The stabbed guy didn't have belongings for any of the other suspects so that eliminates them. The proof the stabbed guy is the actual Tori Man will be a jacket missing a button at his house.
I know all its an assumption theory

Ugh. I hate word play mysteries. You have to know Japanese in order to get them easily. Or do on the spot research. I want something like... the third episode... or that bus hijacking with Jodie and everyone in it. They don't have any word play besides 'STOP' in it, and Hell, that's in English!
It was all logic. =O
