I recently saw the Syfy miniseries Alice and I absolutely love it.  If you end up watching, do not expect it to be anything like Alice in Wonderland. Syfy always turns classic into their own thing.

I've seen the first half of it; the other half is waiting for me on the DVR.

I Started watching the second half and I enjoyed it. Its a nice twist on the classic people should watch it.

Out of curiosity, when did that channel change from SciFi to SyFy? I don't get cable, so i was surprised when i saw the new spelling a week or so ago.

scifi and syfy are the same channel... they ave al the same shows which pretty much proves that in itself.. I saw Alice... and Tinman.. I loved the way they did Tinman. I wasn't so fond of the way they did Alice. I liked the Mad Hatter and that was really it. I liked the idea of the oysters and emotions but not so much the Casino theme. I understand about the cards and everything but what about the chess from the looking glass... I have very mixed feelings on Alice... but I must confess that I am honestly just relieved that they didn't steal my plan for my version of Alice...
