Baths:
#Basic flower essence
Chop 1 glass of fresh flowers on a porcelain cutting board. Cover a bowl with a linen cloth so that the edges hang outside of the bowl, put the flowers inside. Pour a glass of warm water, cover it and leave overnight. In the morning take the cloth and wring it out into a pot, boil it slowly for the water to evaporate until about a spoonful is left. The essence has durability of about a month.
#Honey and salt
Add 1 kg linden flower honey, 1 liter of cream and 30 dkg of bath salt to warm water. Bathe for 15 – 20 minutes. The bath makes the skin smooth and soft. It cleanses the skin and is good for circulation. Use moisturizing balm after the bath.
# Pine
Put pine tree shoots (available In apothecaries, health foods hops and in herbal shops) in 2 – 3 liters of water, boil for 10 minutes, then strain and add to warm water with 200 g of linden flower or multi-floral honey. The bath works strengthening, calming and refreshing. It’s very fragrant.
# Honeydew
Add 100 g of Multi-floral honey or honeydew to warm water (37 degrees Celsius). This bath strengthens the body and moisturizes the skin.
# Basic bathing salt
1 glass of sea salt
½ spoon of glycerin
½ glass of bath salt
Mix the ingredients and put them in an air-tight jar. Add 1-3 spoons to your bath water.
#Blue bath salt
1 glass of sea salt
1 glass of baking soda
4 drops of blue food dye
3 drops of jasmine essential oil
4 drops of vanilla essential oil
2 spoons of glycerin
Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly, add the dye, then add the essential oils. Mix grinding all the lumps until you have homogeneous mass. Add glycerin and mix again. Keep it in an air-tight jar.
# Relaxing bath salt
1 glass of sea salt
1 glass of baking soda
3 drops of pine essential oil
2 drops of cinnamon essential oil
2 drops of vanilla essential oil
2 spoons of glycerin
Mix this like the recipe above, first the dry ingredients, then the liquid ones, mix thoroughly, then add glycerin.
# Sand bath salt
3 glasses of sea salt
1 glass of baking soda
2 spoons of glycerin
5 drops of yellow food dye
4 drops of red food dye
4 drops of musk essential oil
3 drops of jasmine essential oil
Mix salt, soda and glycerin thoroughly, until they combine. Add the essential oils and keep mixing. Divide the mix in three parts, put each in a different bowl. Add 3 drops of yellow dye to the first, 3 drops of red dye to the second, and 2 drops of yellow and 1 drop of red dye to the third. Mix each thoroughly and leave for a couple of hours to dry. Put them in a jar or a bottle in layers.
# Mint bath
1 glass of fresh chopped mint leaves
1 glass of fresh chopped bay leaves
1 tea spoon of coconut essential oil
1 tea spoon of almond essence
Mix the ingredients and put them in a gauze pouch. Hang the pouch under the tap in the bathtub and let water run over it. Running water releases essences from the herbs.
# Milk bath
3 glasses powdered milk
¼ glass oatmeal, grinded in a mortar
¼ glass dried iris root
¼ glass almond slices, grinded in a mortar
1 vitamin E capsule
!/4 glass corn flour
Mix everything thoroughly and keep in a jar. Before a bath, take some of the mix, put in a gauze pouch and hang under running water. This amount of mix lasts for several baths.
# Soothing milk bath
4 glasses powdered milk
1 glass boiled water
½ glass dried chamomile (or 5 – 6 chamomile express tea bags)
Pour 1 glass of boiling water on the chamomile and keep under a cover for 20 minutes. Strain and add milk to the brew. Mix thoroughly and pour in the bathtub. A great bath after a long and stressful day.
# Fragrant shower gel
½ glass of colorless and odorless liquid soap
¼ glass of water
1 tea spoon salt
15 drops of your favorite essential oil
3 drops food dye of any color
Pour the gel into a bowl, add water, mix, then add the essential oil, salt and dye. Pour into a bottle.
