Honorary Council,

I would like to bring up the idea of a Guild-wise Sparring competition, The idea is a simple one and i think it could be very successful. The idea is that we have smaller ones to begin with just so we can get the hang of it, For example,

Soldier (A) vs Soldier (B)

The winner then goes on to fight a higher Seat or a higher Rank,

Soldier (C) vs Officer (D)

Once again the Winner can challenge a higher seat or a higher rank.

Soldier (E) vs Lieutenant (F)

And the final challenge,

Soldier (G) Vs Captain (H),

However we have more than one member taking part. For the competition all ranks are disregarded except for a minor few who will be chosen to be the opponent in the battles.

so i suggest having the following Layout.

Captains
~
~
~
~
Lieutenants
~
~
~
~
Officers
~
~
~
~

All other members will be participants in the spar from soldier upwards. If a member looses the match they then have to go back and spar a member lower than them untill they win, If you loose as a soldier you simply create another spar and challenge someone or find someone whos not being fought,

~ Captains that wont be sparring, I would like them to oversee the lower ranked matches to make sure theres no Rule Breaking, This could also benefit the lower down members, because it will train there Sparring skills and eventually lead to promotions in the guild. ~

I know its very simple however im open to suggestions on how to make it look more attractive

I think the idea is a good one. As far as making it look better, I can't think of anything at the moment.

With some editing and improving it will look amazing

I can't say I approve of the method of rank promoting. Fighting for ranks is something that I believe is unethical and unorganized. It's the same as promoting a new member when he/she has not naturally worked hard to benefit this guild and help it progress. Sure there could be a possibly skilled RP fighter in the guild, but that does not compensate for true dedication put towards the guild itself. If possible, my suggestion is leave out the promoting rank idea because fighting for rank is simply not of the guild's best benefit. Aside from that, the idea in itself, sounds fun I suppose. So half of it is a yes in my vote. Just as long as the "fighting for rank promotion" is excluded.

All that put aside, my concern is of this thread. If I was not clear from before, did I not specifically suggest that only the Council Law thread was to be the only one categorized in the announcement section so that it could always stay at the top? If you do not remember, please know and always keep in mind that the Council Declaration thread is the only announcement that is to be kept at the top. No other is permitted to be in that category other than sticky or normal. If you can, I advise that this thread is to be re-edited as a sticky or normal thread. Thank you!

I didnt mean to make the impression of fighting for the ranks, I meant they work there way up the ranks untill they challenge a captain,

I agree with Zalian. It sounds like a good idea but if your fighting for ranks it could throw off an entire plot. So if this is a fight for a rank I would vote No.

What i did say is you fight THE ranks.

A soldier fights some soldiers, Then they fight officers then they fight Lieutenants then they finally fight the captains

Now see...I dont get where you guys are getting that it is for ranks. I understood it as you moving through the different stages of competition and then finally being able to fight the so called "champion" aka a captain. So where the idea of having this competition for ranks is unknown to me.

What if the solider does not wish to fight a higher rank? I gotta say i'd never fight a captain if I was a solider. Cause once I get to shikai two, that's it. The captain could go beyond that.

Maybe a limiting system that would only allow the Captain to go as high in power as the lower rank can?

Ive been thinking about that,

We all know that a captain has the most power,

If a soldier was to fight a captain then the captain can only use the same ammount of abilities as the soldier. So he would only be able to use two shikais and the soldier ranked kido and agility techniques.

Basically exactly what Dakota and Shroud said
