Ok, so as most of you know I bought a laptop from best buy in June. It's been less than a year and it's crashed 6 TIMES!!!!! We bought a 2 year warranty and in the warranty it says after 4 crashes it's labeled as a lemon and we get a new computer. Reasonable enough right? WRONG! They didn't enter it in their data base a time we brought it in once so that explains the 5 times. But what about the 6? Well my computer crashed yesterday AGAIN and we brought it in today FOR THE SIXTH TIME! So what happens when e bring it in? Last time we were there the MAIN MANAGER told us it would have been in there 4 times. They said that the time before that too but this was the MANAGER! So we were expecting a brand new computer. Then the geek squad calls, Not the manager but the, CUSTOMER RESOLUTIONS manager, HE WAS NOT THE MAiN MANAGER, and he tells us its only been in 3 times. 3 TIMES!!!! How can that be? He says that because it crashed AGAIN within 30 days it counts as a redo. One time I got it and 3 F****** DAYS LATER it crashed. And every time its crashed it's been the SAME PROBLEM!!!! So then when my mom gets mad and starts talking in a calm yet angry tone (believe you me she was polite.) that she thought this was a ripoff and we didn't want to have to deal with this s*** anymore, he gets in a posture of crossed arms and split legs trying to make him seem bigger and more aggresive, something your taught NOT TO DO in training. Then he keeps saying to my mom that she's not going to cuss and yell (which she wasn't.) in a calm tone which is not a tone to talk to an angry person with because it only makes the person more irrate. Then when my mom cools down a bit she asks him why my computer isn't getting replaced and he tells us about the redo factor, then he suggest that WE are probably the problem and installed it wrong. HOW F****** HARD IS IT TO INSERT A DISK, CLICK OK WHEN YOU NEED TO, AND INSERT TWO OTHER DISKS, AND REPEAT THE PROCESS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!! I MEAN SERIOUSLY!?!?!? THATS ALL IT TAKES TO INSTALL THE F****** SYSTEM!!!! HE SAID THAT GEEK SQUAD WOULD HAVE INSTALLED IT CORRECTLY AND THINKS THAT WE ARE TOO INCOMPETENT TO DO IT!!!!! Spread the word! Don't shop at Best Buy for your computers! They rip you off! Buy your cds and dvds if you must but refuse to buy stuff that has a warranty possibility! And I'm f****** done with Windows! As soon as I can afford it I'm buying a f****** Mac!

I got a laptop from Best Buy in June and when I had a problem with it, I called the manufacturer of the computer, not Best Buy. It's always best to deal with the manufacturer of the product instead of the seller of the product because if there is a problem with it less than a year after you buy it, it should be under the manufacturers warranty. So, try calling the maker of the laptop if you haven't already. They're always better than the Geek Squad.

It's always best to deal with the manufacturer of the product instead of the seller of the product because if there is a problem with it less than a year after you buy it, it should be under the manufacturers warranty. So, try calling the maker of the laptop if you haven't already. They're always better than the Geek Squad. We did. They told us to deal with geek squad.
