Location: Grady house and Farstep Grounds
Time: Wee hours of the morning.
Weather: Chilly and clear, with a full moon.

The wee hours of the morning.Nothing was quite like them. The air was still, the homes were quiet - even Farstep's main grounds was more subdued at this time of evening in the cold winter winter. Even the Grady twins were sound asleep, for the moment at least, their little bodies kept nice and warm in their nursery. All in all, it was a peaceful night.
With one notable exception, that is.
Rhian tossed and turned in her bed, having managed to get herself wound up and tied in her blankets, whimpering and murmuring pleas to no-one as night terrors assaulted her mind. Sadly, this was a typical evening for Rhian, or at least typical following her attack all those weeks before. The bad dreams, out of everything else, lingered the longest, and still seemed to show absolutely no sign of stopping.
The flutterby's antennae twitched frantically, their glow brightening and dimming and creating an oddly pulsing light-pattern over her pale, terrified-in-sleep face. Her rosy pink pajamas with little bunnies on them were at least not wet from sweat or anything of the sort, a small mercy on a winter evening, and Rhian continued to suffer the torments of her nightmare, unbeknownst to everyone else in the home.
"No. Iwannagohome...... go 'way......... Iwannagohome....home......no, lemmelone......."

It was one of the last nights they would be spending in the house. Trystan was growing more and more restless, and Crux knew he needed a job soon to stop him from going overboard. Emotions weren't exactly his strong point, and neither was keeping them in check. Sighing, Crux slid through the halls, his mind floating back to his master again and again. Something needed to take his mind off of the subject, or the wolf would be even angrier then it had been before. Ears laid placidly against his head the canine turned down another hall, stepping lightly, avoiding making sound.
However, something kept him from slipping into the night. Whimpering? The wolf sneered from the back of his head. What obnoxious noise was that? Crux let the canine growl, his gut twisting as he identified where it was coming from. Rhian's room? He padded for it without much thought. Ears pricked, the sound gaining volume. What was going on? Crux's mind was unaccustomed to that of night terrors, and confusion welled in his gut as he stopped at the door, contemplating what to do. Lightly he rapped on the door. When there was no answer, he slid in, watching the figure writhe on the bed for a moment. Gently, he placed a hand down on her shoulder and shook. "Rhian." He said softly, trying to wake her up. He didn't like the idea of bothering others. But the dream seemed bad and waking was probably better then sleeping through it. His eyes were downcast in slight curiosity. "Rhian, its just a dream."

"G-gaaah!" Rhian yelped, jolting to wakefulness and flailing around until she sensed Crux nearby, which caused her to relax - just by a little bit. "B-brother Crux, don't let him get me again!" She cried out, shrinking into her blankets and fighting down tears. How she hated these nightmares! It just wasn't fair why did she have to suffer them still? She'd gotten better in every other way, she was even more grown-up than she had been before, so why did these keep plaguing her?
. . . Probably for the same reason she was still terrified of going into the city.
Still, she was starting to calm down again, which was good. She didn't want to wake anyone up with her - oh, no! "I didn't wake you, did I?" she asked worriedly, hoping she hadn't done just that. Why else would Crux be in here? Oh, wait he was dressed for going out. She relaxed again starting to try and straighten her blankets out. " won't be able to sleep after that...... can I go with you? I've never really gotten to talk to you before," she offered, rather shyly and unsure of how she was supposed to approach her sibling's mate.
