I just tried out the new LFG system tonight, and I have to say that while I was uncomfortable with the thought of it at first, it is a really handy new system for people who are trying to get groups together but just can't.
Then again, like always, that can be a double-edged sword too.
But for the most part, I like the way they did it AND the fact that they found a way to add incentive to use the new system (i.e. the Random Heroic daily).

But for the most part, I like the way they did it AND the fact that they found a way to add incentive to use the new system (i.e. the Random Heroic daily). i don't think the "double-edged sword" part of it is going to be a problem. so far i haven't gotten a group that didn't finish the instance. it doesn't let you que for certain heroics if you dont have a high enough gearscore, removing the possibility of undergeared randoms.

I can't find the means to enter into LFM for a raid now, though. All I see are dungeons.

I LOVE the new dungeon group interface. I have loads of alts to gear up, and this makes it very easy to do. Free extra triumphs and gold when you do a random AFTER the daily random for frost? Too awesome!
However, my very favorite part of 3.3 is the Quel'delar quest chain. Reforging the blade from Saronite? Plunging it into the Sunwell to purify it? This is the stuff of legend and incredible lore! I hope they do more quests like this!

It's only 100 random people grouped with, so it's only 25 random dungeons assuming you arent with anyone to start. So it's not that hard to get.

Oh really?! Now that's awesome sauce. I didn't know that. I was wondering why I have run with 5 groups thus far and not a single one of them were fail groups with DPS low enough that they might as well be shooting spitballs at the mobs.

FenrisVollmond Found something I don't like about the new patch... In the original notes, the Kalu'ak Fishing Derby was going to be on a Wednesday at 8pm server time. Have you seen where it is now? Saturday, 2pm server time. 8pm server time would have made it between noon-1pm my time. 2pm server time is 6-7am my time. ON A WEEKEND! I'm never going to get that Salty title. Kinda your fault for picking a server with a time zone so drastically different from yours.

ive been running instances like crazy with the new lfg system. i love it. even the new qt is awesome,but i hate questing.
ive noticed lvling has been way easier and the satchel of goods for doing random dungeons has ben giving me some pretty wicked armor.
