SkippingFairyPrincess Ducky Goddess SkippingFairyPrincess I also don't like Joannes parents...they are ickyy and weird...I have nothing against them in genera, but I just don't like them...bleehhhh x.x are you talking about movie or OBC? In the movie I don't like them.. Some costume really messed up on Mrs. Jefferson's outfit for the wedding xD Anyway, you only see them once O.o How could you develop a dislike for them that quickly?

(Kyuubi) Naruto sportif_yoshi I thought that was sort of a given. gonk Yeah, you're not really supposed to like Benny, but I have to give some credit to the guy...he's actually trying to do something with his life, it just so happens that he has to evict his friends...so natually he becomes the enemy. benny is not all bad...he did pay for angel's funeral

He's not bad. Can't blame him for not wanting to live in a freezing loft with no hear or power.
And he never gives up on the either.
No matter how much they act like they hate him.

I have "God I really want to smack you right now" moments for just about all the characters at one time or another in the show but overall, I like them all. The represent am interesting dynamic among unlikely friends lol. I mean, it takes all kinds and as another character in another play sings, "...and we are lead to those who help us most to grow..."

tamedfox *prepares to get things thrown at her* at first...way back in the day...collins was probably my least favourite character. not because i disliked him, but he just didn't strike me as having as strong a personality as the rest of the characters. i didn't get him, if that makes sense. he didn't make an impression like all the other voices did. however, once i finally saw the play i had this spazzy moment of OMG COLLINS IS FANTASTIC WTF I WANT TO BE HIM WHAT IS THIS LOVE. collins has to be seen to be appreciated? hell if i know how that makes sense...but now i pretty much want to be him when i grow up. plus, collins reminds me of most of my good friends...wise and laid-back and loving and pretty damn weird too. and he's a stoner which i find all kinds of wonderful and familiar.Oh, me too! I didn't really notice Collins when I first saw Rent, but now I'm absolutely in love with him. I don't like Maureen. I mean, sometimes I do, but she's...such a b***h. I don't like her vanity and arrogance. How could Mark and Joanne put up with her? They deserve so much better. I like Benny. I mean, he says "After the wedding, I'm dirt/they'll see/I'll help them all out in the long run." So it shows he really wants to help his friends.

[Gunpowder + Gelatine] Hmmm Roger bugged me a bit. Like I mean, Angel had AID's yet she(said in commereration for Angel) lived her life to the fullest, yet throughout the play and movie Roger is kinda poor pity me. Its awful to be diagnosed with AIDs, and his girlfriend comminting suicide didnt help but.....I dunno He's actually afraid of dying, though. Like, really, really afraid. It refers to it in the RENT bible.

Maureen gets on my nerves a lot. I hate that she played with Mark and played with Joanne and I think she's kind of a whore in the not literal sense. I also think that she's kind of immature. I mean, I'm sure she has her moments, but c'mon. Grow up.
And what's with all the Benny hate?
Also, the Roger hate? Roger's not a bad guy. He whines a lot for a reason. He lost his lover and is slowly losing his own life and his friends' lives. Also... him and Mimi? I doubt that worked out. Look at them. They'd never got to far with that.
