What's the point of doing homework? emo ok you get good grads but whats the point of doing it? neutral What good might you get by being a stright A student?Do teachers keep your homework?.....No they don't! I don't do homework cuz i think the teachers might have dogs use your smell from the homework to track you down.Next thing you know is your getting raped or your parents! gonk

I always think the same thing!It's like they just want to keep you off of the computer or phone or away from you friend and stuff like that.Teachers just hate us,so do schools.

homework is a wasting of time i hate teachers they just give u homework becouse for u just to not go on the internet or play ur ps3 for a long time or anything u like to do for me i dont care i dont do my homework anyways so there is no point when i have homework i just leave in my class and when my mom asks me for homework i say mom i dont have no homework

there's more to it then that.think...why do we go to school? to get an education and possibly make something of ourselves,and to tell if we actually learn anything theres tests.how do you prepare for these tests? study the material.and homework will help you learn said material.
i know what youre thinking.can't we just do all that in school?heres the thing...and i know from experience,most of the time when on the computer or talking on the phone or with a friend or "playing ps3"(which doesn't have many good exclusives in my opinion) you tend to forget what you just learned in school that day,so how do they solve this?give them a review of the lessons to complete at home.believe me its for your own good.And also,for the love of god please hear me out, grades DO matter, i learned this when i got to high school. 3nodding

Homework is a good matter of remembering what you learned as cloud889 said. Also, the teachers want you to repeat something you learned to make sure you can move on into another subject of learning. And yes, some teachers do keep your homework. Sometimes they give your homework to your parents at the end of the year if they want to keep them. And the raping is ridiculous!!!! The teachers are there to teach you, not to rape your family!!!!!!! You could be RICH after getting out of a good college into a good job....Know how to get into that college? YOUR GRADES exclaim exclaim
Homework is sort of tiring but doesnt mean it's pointless!

and when i said i found out grades do matter, it's because you have to apply for a colledge like a job. So if they see you have a poor G.P.A., do you think they'd accept your application?
