Name: Thunjeramon
Nickname: Thunj or Era
Gender: Female
Age: Adolescent kirin
Temperament: Proud
The definition of the storm: Thunj moves about quietly on her own. It's not that she detests company, she just happens to go where others do not tread. She likes being near bodies of water and thrives in chilly or foggy weather. Rain feels warm to her, but the sun does not burn her skin.
The golden horn on her head and the scales on her hind legs almost seem to glow in the night. Thunj often wanders from the deepest part of the woods to the farthest end of the shoreline, walking slowly, guiding those who need a light to follow.
Family: Chai (younger half-sister), Dominion (younger half-brother)
Thunj has no blood relatives, but accepts responsibility of new kirin who join the nest. She watches after Chai and spends time with her occasionally even though the young girl is way too bubbly for her liking. Thunj gets along better with Dominion and enjoys conversing with him about worldly events.

Nickname: n/a
Gender: Female
Age: Adolescent kirin
Temperament: Cheerful
A warm, smooth drink: Chai can't help smiling wherever she goes. She is typically in a pleasant mood and wants everyone to feel the same. Sometimes it annoys others, but for the most part Chai is a welcome addition to any environment.
This little lady is often found in meadows enjoying the sun and warm weather. She doesn't like to be alone and will even venture into colder locations if it means being with company. Chai likes making new friends but is loyal to those she's known longer.
Family: Thunj (older half-sister), Dominion (younger half-brother)
Chai loves her "siblings". She has a feeling that they aren't always thrilled to put up with her out-going personality, but she wouldn't act any differently anyway. Chai trusts them both implicitly and feels safe in any situation as long as she is with one of them.

Name: Dominion
Nickname: Dom
Gender: Male
Age: Adolescent kirin
Temperament: Laid-back
The middle of black and white: Dominion is a very responsible and controlled kirin. He is the first stallion in the nest so he tries to protect the others even though he is the youngest of the three. Dom doesn't seem to do much; it's like he has an innate ability to detect whether or not there's a disturbance or injustice that needs his attention. He likes to feel the breeze and is most comfortable in an open, airy environment.
Dom can be pretty competitive and on occasion will show his fiery temper. His anger never lasts long. Usually he will reign himself in so as not to harm the others.
Family: Thunj (older half-sister), Chai (older half-sister), possibly 11 distant cousins
Despite there being no actual blood ties, Dom doesn't mind being "related" to the two girls. He understands Thunj's need for tranquility and loves going on endless walks with Chai. When they get into a fight they usually come to him for a solution, although he is hesitant to choose one side over the other.
Dom is part of a Zodiac herd, but he doesn't live with them. He is not particularly connected to any of the 11 kirin (this could be because he is an object sign and not an animal sign). When asked, he only recognizes Thunj and Chai as family.
