Cross slowly moved forward, careful not to make a foolish move, as he crouched slightly and brought his arms up to his sides, preparing himself. He figured that in his current position, he would be ready to attack OR counter-attack, at a moments notice.

*Kyle, seeing that his opponent was not going to make the first move, attempted a quick roundhouse to the temple of Cross.*

Cross crouched down further, narrowly avoiding the kick, which he knew could have spelled an early defeat for him, and went to grab Kyle's other leg and take him down by ripping it out from under him. If successful, he would look to transition from this position into a texas cloverleaf.

*Kyle was tripped and sent face-first into the mat. When his opponent look for the submission, though, Kyle attempted to roll over before the cloverleaf was complete in order to kick off his opponent.*

As Kyle rolls over, so does Cross. He tucks forward and rolls back to his feet. If it had been later in the match he may have just landed flat on his back. Of course, he could be feeling the pain very soon, with a worth adversary such as Kyle.

*Kyle Extreme rolled onto his feet and called for a lock-up with Cross again. If Cross accepted the lock-up, Kyle would look to transition the hold into a headlock.*

Cross knew he could no longer play around with Kyle, as much as he wanted to. When the lock-up occurred, and Kyle brought Chris into a headlock, he instantly went for a snap back suplex.

*Kyle was hit with the suplex and let go of the hold, rolling over so that he was face-down, ready to jump up when he could.*

((Feel like I've said this a billion times in the last twenty minutes, but Christmas.)) Cross had no intentions of letting Kyle get back up, and immediately went for a double chicken wing on his opponent. If he could get it properly applied, he would then attempt to roll Mr. Extreme over into a pin, trying to keep the arms hooked.

*Kyle was grabbed and rolled into the pin. He struggled in this pin, but he still had enough fight left in him. At the count of 2 and 1/2, Kyle was able to roll to the side in order to get his shoulder up. Kyle would attempt to roll over so that he could get to his feet if possible.*

Cross tried to roll with Kyle to keep the Chicken Wing applied as they got up. If he was able to reapply it properly, he would look to bring Kyle back down to the ground with a tiger bomb. If nothing else, he wasn't giving Kyle any time to breathe.
