It's absolutely depressing. My freshman year I went from mellophone to winterguard because I needed something to do on the off season. They had limited slots, but had two guards (A and B) and I was placed in the B guard. It was SO much fun, but this year they only have one and since I didn't do fall guard they won't let me in the winter because, I admit, I'm a little rusty.
But it's such a bummer ;-; I miss all my guard friends! crying

oh that sucks i feel your pain. we only hae one guard at my school and last year i tried out for sabre and rifle and i was still on flag line and this year i try out for just sabre and i get on both but i dont even know if were going to have a rifle line for it cause our music is musical no words to it. which school are you from???

only 8 of us too
