This area is where the Angelics normally live. On common days, it is covered in ice, swarming with snow, and only heated by hotsprings.
However... Something is happenning.

Lilliki Lakuna flew up the length of the mountain, her midget-angelic wings that she'd enherited from her mother flapping as fast as hummingbird's. A couple hours of wind rushing past her ears, for the Pundus mountain was rather large, and she reached the crest of the mountain.
Now for ages the angelics had lived at its icy top, building snow-houses with their magical abilitie, and relying on hot springs to heat themselves when they needed it. But today, today the mountain had changed. There were open pits of boiling magma. Steaming craters with smoke bellowing out of them. Lilliki could only stare on in horror at the vast landscape that had changed so much in only a few days time.
"Sister!" She called into the wind, fearing for her sister and her sister's tribe's wellfare.
No answer followed her cry, no movement at all. Where was everyone? Her only guess was that they had retreated further down the mountain, or made homes in the clouds with their magic. Lilliki, not knowing what else to do, spared some of her magic to make a light beacon on top of the mountain. It was an emergency symbol, one that meant 'contact us right away!'
"Where could my sister be?" She asked the wind.
"Lilliki!" A shrill voice found its way to her ears. One of the angelic Pundus, a young male in a tattered robe, had seen the light from the far end of the mountain, where it reached a point. "We are south-west, nearer to the point. Please! Come with me."
---
After following her sister's companion for an anxious eternity, he and Lilliki made it to the Angelic Pundus new base. It was a roughly set up diamond hut. Why it was made of diamond she did not know.
"They have come." Chaolin appeard beside her suddenly, a few scars covering her.
"Oh my god! What has happened?!" Lilliki asked, rushing to use her healing powers on her sister. "What have come?"
Lilliki lowered her eyes, remembering the trauma that had ensued but a day before. But she did not speak of it, not now. "We must go!" She said sternly. "Our brother, though I condemn his lifestyle, is in danger. We must help him."
