Panther started between the two rockets that clearly had been here long then he, and a bead of sweat formed on his face. He did not want to get into trouble himself, but the thought of missing a fight was terrible. though for now it looked like there would be no fight. He frowned at the trouble maker, figuruing he was likely saved by the sinor agent. "Nothing."
he didn't leave though, it sounded like there would be an intresting story to hear.

Nikki paused, still scowling, but the fact that she was actually silent for a couple moments spoke volumes in her language.

"I never asked you to trust me," she snarked back. "From what I've seen, people are never sincere. Everyone is out for themselves, no matter how nice they appear to be on the outside. That's why I don't trust a single soul in this place. The only one you can rely on is yourself. Why you would ever need my help for anything is beyond me. So go ahead, indulge my curiousity."

It may have sounded cruel, and perhaps in a way it was. But at the moment, this was as calm as Nikki was going to get until her nerves were a little less frayed from the pervious outbursts.

With her statement he nodded, that was something he could respect, and he did. He only trusted her, because she had placed some small amount of trust in him. Whether she acknowledged that or not, mattered little, but she had. He took a deep breath, then looked to Panther briefly before shifting his gaze back to Nikki. He didn't particularly care for this new grunt, but there wasn't much he could do about it.

"Quite frankly, aside from knowing my Pokemon... I have no way to confirm that it wasn't Azra that did all the damage in the lab. You're an agent now, if you could maybe even look at the security tapes from that day... It may just help me out. All I want in reference to that is to clear my name, it's going to be hard to advance in rank with a black mark like that..."

He frowned, yes his reasoning was somewhat selfish, but if Nikki understood anything, it was wanting to advance in power. They all had their reasons for wanting to do things, and who knew, maybe someday he would be able to help her out of a bind.

"If you won't help... That's fine, I understand. I know it sounds selfish and petty, but we all have our reasons for wanting or needing to advance... I want to say you know I'm not a complete screw up, like some of the people here, but I can't. You barely know me, and you only have the reports to go off of. All I can say is, up to this point, I've kept my word to you and I will continue to do so."

With that he lowered his head, still hating himself for needing someones help, but it wasn't as if he could just go barge in and steal the security recordings without getting in major trouble again.

If she hadn't turned her back, she would have actually been able to see a smile curl onto his lips. He let out a relieved sigh and bowed to her back, his eyes closing for a moment.

"Thank you Nikki, words won't do to express my gratitude, so in the future my actions shall."

With that he also turned and took another look at the grunt who was standing around. Claris gave him a quizzical look before raising a brow. He knew most were curious by nature, but this kid was going to get himself into trouble.

"Shouldn't you be training"

As he said that, he blinked, as if catching himself by surprise. He looked over his shoulder and called after Nikki, while she wasn't an Elite, she did have some authority now.

"Requesting permission to go on a capturing and training exercise Ma'am! Ambergris is my destination."

Eh? She wasn't sure he should be asking her for permission... or that he even needed permission in the first place.

Regardless, she didn't care all that much. Nikki just waved a hand dismissively as she continued down the hall. If someone asked her where he went, she'd tell them. Simple as that.

Panther chuckled and fallowed the older agent down. "That's right it's been about that much time." he shoved his hands deep into his pokets. he was pretty bored anyway. If he got in to touble so be it, it wouldn't be the first time. "That means who ever, or whatever did wreck the lab has a whole month on us. I haven't heard of anything big happening sence you were taken down, but there have been a few odd ocurances." He searched his mind rembering some of the odd stuff happening at the HQ, stuff he normally would have brushed off. "The entire second floor was flooded about a week ago." he made sure to keep pace with the annoyed rocket member.
