OK, so after several years of fun in Angsty Shem's "The Jew Above Me" in the main forum, someone *cough Scion cough* started confusing TJAM with "Make something up about the person above you" and started making up lies about people in the thread. "The Jew Above Me" got moved to the Schmooze. But that wasn't enough for Scion. He kept at it and Divash got the whole thread deleted. Are you happy now, Scion? Okay... So let's try this again. But this time, with clear rules. HOW TO PLAY Use an '^' in place of the name of the person above you when talking about them. You may add arrows when speaking of people in spots higher and higher above you. For example, '^^' is the person who posted two spots above you and '^^^' is the poster three spots above you. For high numbers, such as 7 spots above you, you may say "^(x7)" or some variation, as thought of by woolie. You can represent yourself within a post with '<>,' or, if you want to, you can represent yourself with however many places above that post your last post was, like an '^^' or a '^^^.' However, this is not necessary, just a '<>' is necessary. You never know who will post below you, but if you want you can use a "V"(Capitol V) to represent them in your post. This was also woolie's idea. As for what to talk about for this thread... just smalltalk, really. RULES 1.) Keep it appropriate, as Gaia is PG-13. 2.) No uncensored Expletives. 3.) No making up lies about the other posters. 4.) Some JGGers, such as Behatzlacha-S, enjoy getting cool post numbers. We get really psyched when we post and it ends up being a cool number. Posting a few times in a row to deliberately get a cool post number, like 100 or 11111 or 480 is OK. But only do it in Moderation. Say, a maximimum of 3 consecutive posts for your goal?

^blames me for the loss of a thread, strangely Divash never once directly told me to change what I was doing. She did reiterate the rules (which didn't include the need for truth within Angsty's definition btw) and I kept to them to the best of my ability. It is more likely it was canceled after someone started being unkind to other posters.

^ should read the PM conversations between Divash and <> in which Divash says that ^ is the reason for TJAM's deletion. First time <> reported ^ to Divash:Divash thanks <>. Next day thread is moved to the Schmooze. Divash Lumanny the Space Jew Scion has made up new rules for TJAM. He just makes up all kinds of crap about the Jews above him like it were "Make something up about the person above you." And our new JGGer of 3 days, Branching Out, is picking up the bad habit. Thanks for the heads up. Handled. If it happens again, let me know again, please, and I'll lock the thread or delete it. You know, I deleted the original thread of this ilk because it was causing strife between people who should at least try to view one another as brothers. I'm going to lock this one, but leave it up for a few days so that people will know why.
Lumanny and Scion: The first one of you that posts an insult or snide barely-not-an-insult-but-only-because-of-technicalities post about the other one will be perma-banned from this guild.
You are both fine young men whom I like and respect; acting like this is not worthy of either of you. Now, if you simply must fling verbal 'fecal matter' at one another like a pair of monkeys, do it privately in PMs. Don't degrade and shame yourselves before the entire guild.
