"Leeland in Repose"- wonderful profile, the ear needs to be moved down or i would even experiment having the hair cover it up since most times in real life our hair covers our ear. the only other thing i would suggest is adding more definition to the hair besides just the general outline. wonderful job!
"Dreams"- when sitting against a wall or anything for that matter the spine bends inward and not pushing the chest out. she would be leaning over and her left leg would be propped up more to help balance. always keep the physical h=balance in mind whenever drawing characters in any pose beyond standing strain, think, if i were to sit/stand like that, would i fall over? the only other thing i would mention and make sure the boxes in the back ground have the same perspective as the window. its a wonderful piece and with a little work i know itll be amazing!
"darkened hearts"- cute.
I shall respond as you have critiqued!
"Leland in Repose"- I try to avoid covering the ears, just because it seems incredibly lazy, and I spent a LONG time learning to draw a half decent ear. Hair definition will come when I finish the pic.
"Dreams"- Thanks for the tips. Although the spine thing will be a pain to fix, and, technically, she's not leaning on her back, her shoulder is the only part that hits the wall. (Although that would still probably mean I need to fix the spine anyway.) And, I'm working on the boxes, and will hopefully turn them into a bad and end table eventually.
"Darkened Hearts"- thanks!
