"That's wicked. I've en drawing since I was like seven, but back then it was just stick figures and stuff." She laughed a little as she put the sketch off to the side and grabbed another piece of paper and began to sketch some kind of animal, much more quickly this time.

Brian detailed the wings to look like actual wings. They were drawn beautifully...

Amanda turned the unidentifiable animal into a lioness in a few seconds. Then she added details, and a few scars. Finally, she added a rose tattoo on her left foreleg.

Amanda sat back and loooked at her lioness. She loved it instantly. SHe took a dark red colored pencil and wrinte in big fancy lettering she'd learned on the top of the page, "Nessarose" Then she grabbed another peice of paper and put the one with the lioness next to the one with the tree. This time she drew something she'd never tried before. She started drawinga song. She took out her iPod and put on the song, Travelin' Soldier by the Dixie Chicks. (Really good song, but really sad) She put one earbud in her ear like she always did, and she started to sketch whatever the song made her feel. I cried, never gonna hold the hand of another guy, Too young for him they told her, Waitin for the love of a travelin' soldier Our love will never end, Waitin for the soldier to come back again, Never more to be alone, When a letter says, a soldier's comin home... Soon she had the following on her paper: A broken heart, dog tags, a pair of determined eyes, and a bow. All in black & white, plain old pencil. The song was still playing and she was still drawing.
