When it comes to work Sawyer is prim and pressed. She doesn't like things that are too over the top and prefers to dress plain and professional. So as to not draw attention to anything other than the subject at hand.
However when she is relaxing or just outside of class she prefers loose and colorful clothing. She dresses almost gypsy like when she is not teaching and outside of the classroom is a very different person in almost all aspects. She wears jewelry, she smiles, and loves to be in every bodies business.
Personality:
Sawyer is when it comes to class very proper and professional almost to a point of being cold. She takes what she does VERY seriously and for her mathematics is almost like a religion. So when it comes to class she is not exactly the type of person that you want to be on the wrong side of. However she does take her work seriously and if she believes you are trying and still failing she is very likely to extend help your way either directly with tutoring and such or indirectly by other means.
Outside of the classroom Sawyer is a very jovial and happy woman. She likes to dress in bright colors, keep her hair up and wrapped with a kerchief and can often be found playing music or participating in political disscusions with other adults. She loves life and always intends to do as many things as she can before she dies. This makes her a very talented and fun woman to be around. Because of her love of learning new things she often has TONS of stories about all manner of experiences and is often willing to share them at the drop of a hat.
History:
Sawyer was born to a middle class family. She was always just below the rich (thus didnt fit in with them) and just above the poor (thus not fitting in there either) and so spent much of her childhood alone and so focused on her studies. Her parents had begun her teachings themselves but when they saw how dedicated she was to learning they got her a tutor and that was when she found her love...math. Sawyer LOVED math, it ALWAYS made sense, there was no way to trick it, it was dependable! She could never go wrong with it and so pursued all knowledge of it. She wanted to know all there was to know about math because she knew that once she had learned all the ways of manipulating itit would never change and leave her wrong!
So she spent alot of time with her tutor and had several tutors after which all taught her well. Since she had always pursued education alone and so had developed a different personality, education was her religion it was one thing that she took VERY seriously and since this made her productive all of her teachers feed this idea untill for Sawyer it truly was her faith.
She followed in math her whole life, becoming her fathers accountant and managing all the money in the family. She was quite good at it but felt unfulfilled. She was using math and understood it but everytime she found mistakes in others work or had to deal with smeone who did not know math like she diid she lost a little more faith in the world. So she decided to pursue teaching in order to get the world to think straight again! She began to teach in a small school in her hometown but sadly the next person who her father contracted to take charge of the money cheated the family out of practically everything. This caused much stress and pain to the entire family and was what initially caused the emergence of Sawyers Daemon. Sawyer eventually found a job at Jaradin and uses the money she earns to take care of her parents and siblings until they can regain what they once had. But she has no regrets because she knows that she will be teaching young minds and showing them the ways of math and its beauty.
