Do you think too many people judge you on what kind of guitar your playing rather than how well you play? 4 ex. You're a really awesome shredder, but everyone laughs at you because you have the cheapest guitar ever.

yes they do. espesialy the gibson followers ( no offence)
i was playing at a party and was getting complaments from my friends and other random ppl and some chick comes up to me and started ratting on how im a louzy guitar player because i dont play a gibson, and started dissing my Green Strat, meerly because she thinks her Les Paul kicks its a**.
i was pissed.
because no matter what i told her aout HER guitar she thought it was the greatest thing ever created on the face of the earth.
espesialy sence it was one of the Les Paul's thet had had the weight treatment vaia being gutted on the inside and sealed up so as no1 would notece (from the factory btw)
Almost every gibson connisuer i have ever talked to has been the same way as this person and it infuriates me to no end. Gibsons may be of a high standard of quality but it depends on the person what they would rather play or like to sound like.
witch is y i like my squire so much beccuse its unique, and sounds unique.

I agree with him. People pay to much attention to the guitar more than the player. Everyone who has seen me play, all they say is how much they love my "axe", which is a *gibson les paul robot*. I'd rather they noticed my shredding not what I'm shredding on. Don't worry, one of my first guitars was a squier. I loved the thing to death.
