Has anybody read any Asian classics that they really liked?

I am currently reading Tale of Genji, and liking it a lot, even though the reading is slow.
I'd also like to read Journey to the West, but I don't want to read the Jenner translation, and I can't find all 4 volumes of the Yu translation for cheap.
