'well I certainly hope so" Tanaris remarked in reference to him getting well quicker, he wasn't the type to sit around very often and couldn't see spending days on end just laying about waiting for his injures to heal. He expected he would deal with whatever measures were necessary to get up and about sooner.
"No not really - I was too tired when I landed to do much more then find a safe place to rest" He told the stallion, and after glancing about realized his choices were rather limited at the moment, at least he'd had the good sense to land close by some water - even if getting to it would be painful at the very east/

Swiftwind knew the stallion wouldn't be able to feed himself for a few days while his wounds healed so he did the only thing he could think of and stayed with Tanaris. He fetched him food when he was hungry, helped him limp over to the pond when he was thirsty and mainly tried to keep his spirits up.
After several days of rest Tanaris was starting to get better. He could get up and walk around on his own, but was still quite weak. Swiftwind stuck around until Tanaris insisted that he was well enough to take care of himself. Afterall the grey stallion did need to get going soon in order to catch Etain and his foals before they left the fruitlands. So Swiftwind bid goodbye to his new friend and wished him well on the rest of his journey.
