Yep, I'm looking for more production ideas! Anyone have an idea for a musical?
The funnier, the better! (And we just did Into the Woods, so it's out...)
PS: This is the second night of our production of The Nightmare Before Christmas!

Zombie Prom is a hilarious one, my school did it last year and it was hysterical. It's a musical originally done off broadway I believe (with kristin Chenoweth as the lead female none the less). But yeah, that's a really good one.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood is a very funny musical with many parts for men and women. It's an extremely funny show.

If you guys want to do a funny musical, you can't go wrong with Urinetown. It's one of my favorite musicals of all time.

If you're looking for funny musicals, nothing beats A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum! My college did it this past spring, and it was hilarious! Much better than the movie version.

I'd have to say that that for me the funnist musical I've ever seen was "A Funny Thing on the Way to the Forum." Nathan Lane is a comic genus.

(Oh! Are all of these fit for *cough* "all ages"?)

Well, Forum isn't because it has whores.... A funny show is Avenue Q, which not only isn't good for all ages, but has NO royalties out yet! There's always 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee...

Little Shop of Horrors is a nice comedy (though some people aren't too hot on the ending), but it has kind of a small cast, so it wouldn't be good for a really big production.

Koneko Tsukino Well, Forum isn't because it has whores.... A funny show is Avenue Q, which not only isn't good for all ages, but has NO royalties out yet! There's always 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee... It isn't legal to do shows that are currently on Broadway.
