I continue a tradition my grandmother started in her teen years. I don on the red velvet cape, and dress. I put on thin wire reading glasses. I then go and get my Tennessee Walker Belle. I put her Christmas bridle on with small golden bells on it. Then I ride into town to the local churches to gather the toys, clothing, and school supplies that they have been collecting for the families that live out of the towns and far back in the woods. at 11:00pm I put the goodies on my lap ( a rather large bag). and do the Christmas ride to deliver the goods. When I come close to the house I can see children ready with hot tea and a carrot in return for the goodies. ( that helps Belle and I a lot to keep warm and have energy for the rest of the ride)... I finish the Christmas ride around 3am. I get Belle back in her stable and put her blanket over her then I go to the loft part of the stable ( I have a room up there) So I change back into regular clothing. I take a short nap I get up at 7am and see what the kids say about their gifts. The funny thing about the whole tridition thing was.. I always though there was a real Mrs. Clause.. until my grandmother told me about what she did. her dying wish was for me to continue it.. thus I have been doing it for 10 years now.

My plans? Being released from hospital is about it, my parents have postponed Christmas celebrations until boxing day so I can go home and settle back in. So I get Christmas presents and boxing day presents on one day! (xD Its a British tradition to give boxing day presents, well from where I am from.)

I'm boycotting Christmas. I'm done with it. My family's not together anymore and every goddamn year we have to go through so much planning and spend money ridiculously on different sorts of food. Of course I'm going to visit some friends and family members, but that's about it. I have no present wishes, haven't had for years. And all the gifts I've received so far is just GARBAGE! If you send me food or stuff like that, don't bother! Send it to the people that REALLY need em, the poor folks. In my case, it's sometimes the most relaxing thing to tell Christmas to go ******** itself.

I helped my grandma buy my presents, over the weekend. Less surprise, more guarantee that I'll like what I get.
I hang out at her place for xmas and new years. My dad, stepmom, and half sis tend to visit (or we visit them) on xmas, along with my uncle who lives near/with my grandma. My brother may or may not show up, as he is in the army. Not sure if I'll see my real mom's family on any given year, since she lives far south.
