KINGDOM HEARTS 358 DAYS/2"You have poured so many memories into me. Given me so much... That I feel like I'm about to overflow."
Roxas and Axel were watching the sunset from their usual spot on the station's clock tower after a long day of collecting "hearts" from the Heartless, as ordered by their organization. When their daily work ended, they often spent their evenings there. They talked about the day's work and other things over ice cream.
"Do you know why the sun looks red as it sinks below the horizon? It's because among the countless colours comprising light, red travels the greatest distance."
"You're just trying to show off, Axel!"
It was idle chatter between two boys without hearts.
This is the untold story of Organization XIII's Roxas.

The World That Never Was
The world of the Organization's stronghold, where meetings are held, orders are given, and Nobodies relax in their free time between missions. Roxas has no memories of the time before he was inducted into the Organization; The World that Never Was is the only home he knows. As the center of the Organization itself, The World that Never Was is a place of intrigue and secrets as Organization members plot with and against each other to further their own goals. Thrown into the middle of all this, Roxas is left struggling to work out who, if anyone, he can trust - until an older member called Axel takes Roxas under his wing and shows him the ropes. But who is the mysterious new fourteenth Organization member?
Twilight Town
In his first days as a Nobody, this sleepy little town is where Roxas is taught the basics of fighting and magic under the watchful eyes of senior Organization members. He learns that he has a special ability to release hearts from the Heartless, and that his duty in the Organization is to free as many hearts as possible in order to create Kingdom Hearts. Meanwhile, Roxas finds he has a taste for the local specialty - sea-salt ice-cream - and he and Axel soon develop a habit of spending their evenings eating at the top of the town's clock tower, looking out over the streets below at the setting sun. When Roxas befriends the Organization's new member, Xion, she soon joins in. The three of them share many happy afternoons together, but will these peaceful times really last?
Agrabah
Roxas's first real mission to a new world takes him to a town on the edge of the desert, threatened by howling sandstorms and Heartless alike. Since the Organization tends to keep as low a profile as possible, he keeps out of the way of most of the locals. He does however observe their interactions with great interest - and is intrigued by the concept of "best friends" that the Genie tries to explain to him. But will the town be able to withstand the coming sandstorm? And just what is Pete searching for in the secret cave out in the desert? Moreover, Roxas is constantly distracted from his missions by his fears for Axel, who still hasn't returned from Castle Oblivion. Nobodies without hearts aren't supposed to be able to worry, but Roxas can't stop thinking about the possibility that Axel has been eliminated.
Beast's Castle
Roxas is sent to another new world to continue releasing hearts. His confusion at the emotions displayed by the people in the worlds around him only deepens when he learns of the plight of the cursed Beast and his Castle. What does it mean to have something precious, something you don't want to lose? Are such things really just weaknesses to be exploited, as Xaldin says? And what is this mysterious "power of love" that gives the Beast such strength when defending his Castle against the Heartless? Roxas finds he has more pressing concerns, however, when Xion confesses to him that she's suddenly unable to use her Keyblade... (read more)
Olympus Coliseum
At the Olympus Coliseum Roxas meets Phil, who mistakes the boy for Hercules' new apprentice and goes about setting him ever-increasing targets in grueling training regimes. Roxas still enjoys his evening ice-creams with Axel and Xion, and the three have become close friends. But what are these strange, dream-like visions he's been having, visions of a boy his own age, dressed in red? And why would another member of the Organization want to enter the Coliseum's tournament to fight Roxas?
Halloween Town
Roxas' missions take him to a bizarre world of ghosts and ghouls, where he is harassed by Lock, Shock, Barrel and their pranks as he continues releasing as many hearts as possible. As usual, Jack Skellington is looking for inspiration for his next Halloween - something Roxas might just be able to inadvertently help out with. But when strange clawed tentacles of darkness begin appearing around town, terrifying even the three insufferable pranksters, it looks like Roxas' work destroying Heartless will be cut out for him...
Wonderland
Like all visitors to this world, Roxas finds himself taunted by the seemingly nonsensical riddles of the Cheshire Cat. Roxas is careful to avoid the notice of the playing card guards, and their fearsome Queen, but he's also starting to realize that there's even more going on under the surface of the Organization than he's ever suspected. On top of that, the Organization is rife with strange rumors of an impostor, a mysterious man who's been seen wearing an Organization cloak.
Neverland
In Neverland, Roxas meets the ever-lively Tinkerbell, who is determined to enlist his help in putting an end to the scheming of Captain Hook. Hook and his first mate Smee are out treasure hunting, not caring how many Heartless they dig up in the process. With Tinkerbell's help Roxas learns to fly, and he's stuck by an incredible sense of déjà vu - a feeling that it isn't the first time he's taken to the skies. At first Roxas ignores Tinkerbell's urging in order to focus on his own missions, but when she's taken captive by the pirates, Roxas must decide whether to act outside his orders and save her.
Castle Oblivion
When Roxas learns from Axel that Xion was born in Castle Oblivion, he's determined to investigate the place for himself. But barely has he walked in the door when he's overcome by a strange weakness, and passes out entirely. Just what secrets is this mysterious building hiding?

Day 1
Sora’s Nobody is born in Twilight Town, named Roxas, and enters into the Organization. Namine is born in Castle Oblivion and is captured by Organization XIII. Sora returns to his human form after being turned into a Heartless.
Day 6
At the Shore of Darkness Roxas hears from Xemnas about how he has been to see “him” (Sora.) At Hollow Bastion Sora fights with a strange man (Xemnas.)
Day 7
Xion joins the Organization as “Number 14.” Xion joins the Organization as “Number 14.”
Day 16
At Castle Oblivion they make plans to use Sora. Around this time Sora defeats Xemnas' Heartless, saves the world, and leaves King Mickey and Riku in the World of Darkness.
Day 22
Marluxia's group goes to Castle Oblivion. Marluxia's group goes to Castle Oblivion.
Day 23
Axel and Vexen go to Castle Oblivion. Axel and Vexen go to Castle Oblivion.
Day 24
Sora arrives Castle Oblivion. Sora arrives at Castle Oblivion.
Day 25
Roxas sees Xion’s face for the first time. Xion becomes able to use the keyblade. Around this time Riku arrives at Castle Oblivion.
Day 29
Roxas sleeps. Sora's memory alteration proceeds.
Day 49
Roxas dreams of Sora entering the pod. Sora defeats Marluxia and enters the pod.
Day 50
Roxas wakes up.
Day 51
The Organization receives information that the group at Castle Oblivion has been wiped out. The Organization receives information that the group at Castle Oblivion has been wiped out.
Day 52
The Organization receives information that the group at Castle Oblivion has been wiped out. Riku and King Mickey, and Namine and DiZ leave Castle Oblivion in front of the one remaining member, Axel.

Axel returns from Castle Oblivion.

Xion loses the ability to use the keyblade. Roxas and Axel find her in Twilight Town. The Organization receives information that the group at Castle Oblivion has been wiped out.
Day 95
Xion loses the ability to use the keyblade. Roxas and Axel find her in Twilight Town. Around this time DiZ and Namine retreat to Twilight Town.

Xion learns to use the keyblade again. The Organization receives information that the group at Castle Oblivion has been wiped out.

Xion fights against Riku and loses. He sees her face and is shocked.
Day 171
Xion is defeated by a Heartless and then passes out. Riku fights against Xion and wins. He sees her face and is shocked.
Day 193
Xion wakes up, after connecting to Sora’s memories during her sleep. She begins going on missions again. Riku fights against Xion and wins. He sees her face and is shocked.
Day 224
Xion wakes up, after connecting to Sora’s memories during her sleep. She begins going on missions again. Namine realizes that Sora’s memories aren’t being restored because “ ‘She’ has begun connecting to Sora’s Nobody’s memories.”
Day 225
Xion accesses the Organizations main computer. Namine realizes that Sora’s memories aren’t being restored because “ ‘She’ has begun connecting to Sora’s Nobody’s memories.”
Day 255
After breaking into Castle Oblivion, Xion runs into Axel who is there on a mission. She learns of her true nature and runs from the Organization. At the same time Namine tells Riku that the only way Sora will awaken is by getting rid of both his Nobody and “her”.
Day 275
At Destiny Island Xion’s memories become confused and she faints. Riku helps her, and she learns about Sora. Riku helps Xion, and explains about Sora. After this they will work together for a time.
Day 297
Roxas and Axel go to Castle Oblivion to search for the fake Organization member and Xion. At the castle Roxas passes out. Axel brings Roxas to Twilight Town, where they find Xion and the fake Organization member (Riku.) At Twilight Town Riku and Xion appear in front of Roxas and Axel.
Day 298
Saix orders Axel to capture Xion. Axel and Roxas find Xion in Twilight Town. Axel brings her back. Axel brings Roxas to Twilight Town, where they find Xion and the fake Organization member (Riku.)
Day 300
Saix orders Axel to capture Xion. Sora’s memory restoration slows considerably.
Day 321
Because of Xion’s absorption of Roxas’s power he becomes weakened. Sora’s memory restoration completely stops. DiZ urges Riku to go out and find Roxas.
Day 352
Saix tries to make Xion and Roxas fight, but they are stopped by Axel.
Sora’s memory restoration completely stops. DiZ urges Riku to go out and find Roxas.
Day 353
Xion defeats Xigbar and runs. Axel lets her go.
Riku and Xion meet again. Making her decision, Xion goes to Namine and tells her goodbye.
Day 354
All Organization members find out about the Replica Project and what Xion really is. Riku and King Mickey meet again. He tells him what must be done to restore Sora’s memories. Riku leaves Sora in King Mickey’s care.
Day 355
Roxas escapes from the Organization. Riku and King Mickey meet again.
Day 356
Axel brings Xion back. Namine meets with Xion, tells her what must be done.
Day 357
Xion and Roxas fight, and as she planned Xion loses. She tells Roxas to set free Kingdom Hearts.
Day 358
Roxas, now wielding two keyblades, fights with Riku. Riku frees his Darkness, and Roxas loses. He is brought to DiZ. Riku and Roxas fight. He loses at first, but releasing his Darkness allows him to win in the end.
Day 359
Roxas begins his Summer Vacation in Data Twilight Town.
Riku and Roxas fight. He loses at first, but releasing his Darkness allows him to win in the end.
Day 364
Roxas’s Summer Vacation will “end” after one more day.
