Two of my sisters have tattoos of something that's important to them(in a weird sort of way), so I want to get one too. It has to be something related to FFVIII because I'm completely obsessed with it, but I can't think of what to get. I'm trying to avoid anything with a face, so I can't use the symbol for the game. I thought about getting something with Rinoa's wings, or the numbers and letters on her triple triad card, but one of my sisters thinks that those are too tacky. So I was hoping someone on here would be able to help me think of something. Please post any ideas you have on here, whether it's a picture or just a description. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

How about one of the Garden symbols? Or perhaps the Ragnarok? Although that last one could be a bit difficult.

I have considered the Balamb Garden Symbol, it was one of the temporary tattoos that came with my guidebook, but there's so many little lines with it. It would take a little while to do, and I don't want to have to sit there too long. Not a big fan of needles, just really want an FFVIII tattoo. lol. I could just do the middle black and white part of it, and maybe have the blue lines too. I could always have the rest added later.
The chibi wing thing could be cool, and maybe with the feather below it so it kinda looks like it floated off.

i reckon the wings done between the shoulder blades would be good, wings are a fairly contemporary style, i'm getting a pair of biomechanical wings done between my shoulder blades next year.
i'd say have the wings themselves done with a few floaty feathers done below and off to the sides like the wings have just appeared and flexed or whatever.
but that's just me

Perhaps even one of the characters' weapons? The Gunblade specifically is what I'm thinking of.

You could do one of the monsters or GF's. Personally I think Carbuncle would be the cutest tatoo ever.

I was considering a GF but I don't really have a favorite. I don't want to get a GF and then wish I had gotten a different one. I still have to get a job before I can get one though, and maybe by then I'll have a favorite.
Thanks for the link. If I do get a Garden Symbol it'll be a lot smaller than that one.

Yeah, that garden symbol was just WAY too big for my tastes, and I agree that Carbuncle would be awesome to have. But like you said, you got time to figure it out. lol
