Wow that guy was a jerk .. stop lieing for a second geez... Pokemon name is Xaill and im a boy , ((not in real lol))
anyways these are my pokemon on Platinum im kinda proud to say that i havent lost once with this team ((Haven't really fought anyone so yeah sweatdrop ))
Umm ok my team consists from front to back of my party ((Also i was kinda lucky because my turtwig had pokerus when i got it , so my whole party now has pokerus, yay EV's!))I also have a confession to make , i love naming my pokemon wether it is a real name or not its just fun xP

Arcanine is well known for being one of the few pokemon who can learn the move, Extremespeed.
With that being said, I'm positive that his nature for this Arcanine is something with an attack boost, though I can't discern what stat is minused.
Did you figure out what item his Arcanine had on it?
Personally for an Arcanine, I'd go for a Naive/Hasty Arcanine with
Thunder Fang
ExtremeSpeed
Flare Blitz
Fire Fang
Leftovers or Shell Bell
Max EVs in Atk and put about 100 in Spd, the rest go wherever. (most likely HP)
This way he can revenge kill water types, and if not a good chance of paralysis follows. Flare Blitz would be used only against the likes of Big HP defense pokemon, while Fire Fang and ExtremeSpeed will be your signature moves.
