Well, to start off I had my first day of Bell Ringing on Friday, and I loved it! People were super super nice to me, and nobody tried to steal the donation kettle, yay! biggrin My boss, Drew, asked me how it went when he called today, and since I liked it so much (he said I got quite a bit of donations) he wanted to put me in a spot where they weren't getting a whole lot, so next week I'm there from 9:30am to 5:30pm all week. He thinks my charm might get to that area of town ^.^
Also, my mom found out that she never completely lost her childcare license, that it was only suspended. Because of this, she can still go and work for other daycares when it gets unsuspended! She found out that our church is starting a childcare, so she is really considering working for them.
Thing is, she was offered a job for Star Tek, a computer maintance place where she would be on the phones doing bill collection. She's more of a people person than I am, and she handles stress a lot better too, so it'll be a great job for her until she sees what happens with her license.
Slight bit of bad news though. Toboe and I only have $80-$100 to last us the next 2 weeks until he gets paid again (but I might get a check for 8 hrs this friday from the bell ringer job, since it pays every friday). So until he gets paid again we're going to be tight. We just have to be very careful with what we spend, BUT (and this is a huge BUT too) we have ALL of our bills up to date, so we have finally gotten caught up with things! YAY!!

glad to hear that things are looking better Sachan ^.^ it's great you enjoy your new job and you're doing good so far!
lucky for your mom biggrin she's found a good temporary job and she hasn't completely lost her old one. i hope she enjoys her new job, but her license gets unsuspended soon.
aw D: well, i hope things go well, and it's good you at least have all your bills up to date ^^

It does feel very rewarding ^.^ This is something that if I didn't need the job (money wise) I would so volunteer to do it. Knowing what the money goes to, it makes me really happy to be a part of something like this.
@insanity-chan: yup yup yup! It stinks cause we're still in quite a bit of debt, but everything is up to date, and that will make keeping track of things so much easier ^.^
