I'm not much of a movie guy, so I haven't seen anything new since my Mom made me see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with her around Thanksgiving... but I did watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time last night! whee Damn, now I know why that's a Cult Classic. *runs off to do the Timewarp again* (( Sorry, couldn't resist. sweatdrop ))

Momo_Yokumuri OMFG!!! Brokeback Mountain is the best movie EVER!!! I loved it so much!! 3nodding heart I heard that the only reason that it got such great reviews and why everyone likes it was because it's controvercial. Although, I can't really form an opinion of it yet since I haven't watched it myself... but I also heard there was nudity in it.. I don't care how good a movie is, I'm not going to watch nudity. >_<; Since you saw it, was there much in it?

I saw Phantom of the Opera a while ago and i've seen it like 10 times since then. I heart that movie. something stupid: me and some other phantom of the opera fans that i know made a remake of that movie using ourselves....it was HILARIOUS!! i was the phantom and Carlotta. smile

I saw Rent & Yours, Mine, & Ours.. They were both good..
And since I'm such a sap for crying when necessary in movies, i cried like 8 times while watching Rent.. redface redface redface

TaroPsyche Nyroc, I think flashback are a part of j-horror. Watching the original Dark Waters and theirs a flashback scene ><. Just to point out their was a American remake of Dark Waters with an all star cast just like The Ring and The Grudge. I just haven't seen it yet. I just saw Dark Waters the other day. That was a very good movie. I thought that it had a very good storyline, and I could sort of believe it, since it was like a haunting. The ending was very sad though, and I cried. I felt so bad for the little girl. cry

So if it makes me cry, then it's a great film. 3nodding

I just watched Saw 2 last night, and it was SO AWSOME. Then again I like my movies to be a little sick and twisted. I AM waiting impatiently for the Silent Hill movie to come out. End of June or July is when it comes out I think. I did see the previews for it and it looked like a haunting thriller (pun intended)
