Ok guys...
You know all about the extreme challenges.
Such as FFX's NSGNCNSIE challenge.
Let's hear your most incredible challenges.

The post should contain:

Name:

Challenge:

Hours on Completed Save file:

Main party's lvl per character:

How did you like it:

There ARE rules to this post.
-No bumping-
-Any post containg more than 3 "F Bombs" will be considered irritating-
-You are subject to harassment at any time by me. (Get over it, it's worse IRL) -

Edit: As requested.
NSG- No sphere grid
NS- No summoning
IE- Initial equipment
NC- No customizing
LL- Low Level

I'm soon to add in a no save game but first I have to pull it off in FFX.
I keep dying with Sin. It sucks.
He kills me and I have to start all over again.

Ahhh, I've never really been one for challenges. I love gameplay, but I'm more into the games for the storyline, so making the game harder for myself doesn't really give me the satisfaction it does a lot of people, I think. Besides, to be honest, it's hard for me to find enough time to play in the first place without bothering to spend extra hours upon hours doing something I don't need to do to get somewhere. confused Don't get me wrong; I understand the idea behind challenges, I see how people find them fun, and I think they're a great idea, but they're not really for me.

I might be forced to try a no-save file in V though; considering the PS3 actually won't let you save after you get Galuf... stressed

I was unaware that you could play V on the PS3. I do alot with emulators and roms. I even re-patched 4 to make it more interesting.

There is one I never understood. That was FFI... The system behind the game was sooooooo.... lacking?
I think lacking would be the best word for that particular statement. It was just like, you had to attack to level up... you never really DID level up and the only way to get more health was to get your a** kicked.

I've never done anything like that (and never will).

How do no saves even work? Are you supposed to beat it in one sitting? Or do you just waste energy by leaving the game on?

I think you meant FFII not FFI..It was actually pretty easy. You just had to equip really weak weapons and then get into a random battle with some weak enemies...kill everyone of the enemies except for one...and then have your party members attack each other & heal when necessary...do that for awhile and all your stats & HP would jump really high.

Then you could get an unlimited amount of Masamunes (the strongest weapon in the game) from a mini-game and equip two on each character...and just plow through the game.

Ah, yeah, I was wondering about that... I actually really liked II's battle system; it's unique and it actually makes a lot of sense in a realistic way... and it's so fun to exploit games' weaknesses (Missingno. FTW). Unfortunately, I never got very far in it because the story just bored me to death. stare

JUST BECAUSE I WANT TO BE REALLY NIT-PICKY, but didn't the original FFI have the same system as II (I loved II, now that I think of it...)?
