The next morning, smoke hangs over the Barren Pines campus. What students are left have taken refuge in the classrooms. All of the Barren Pines staff have disappeared, including Ms. Johnson and Mr. Collins.
And from the rubble, the edges of the woods: the dead walk the earth as living monsters.
By daylight, they look how they used to -- albeit a little green around the edges, some of them carrying the marks of how they died, though the fire victims are completely whole and untouched. Some have bullet wounds. Some simply look puffy around the edges. Night reveals them for what they truly are: horrific monsters, youma, still in the rags of their Barren Pines uniforms.
It would be fine if they were brainless monsters lusting for human flesh. But they're fully sentient, fully hungry, and carry all of the memories they did when they were living.
An invisible forcefield prevents those Barren Pines students who still live from escaping. You have to get out for food and water. But who do you encounter?

YOUR RPS ARE NOW SURVIVAL RPS. YOU CAN CHOOSE HOW YOUR STUDENT HOLES UP AND TRIES TO PROTECT THEMSELVES. ZOMBIE ROLEPLAYERS CAN ALSO ROLEPLAY, AND EVERYONE WHO PREVIOUSLY DIED IS NOW FREE TO ROLEPLAY AGAIN, EVEN THOSE WHO DIED BEFORE THE FIRE. IF YOU ARE DEAD YOU DO NOT NEED NORMAL FOOD. YOU CAN EITHER KILL OTHER ZOMBIES (SEE BOTTOM FOR ROLLING RULES) OR ATTEMPT TO EAT THE LIVING, WHICH ARE MUCH MORE DELICIOUS.
The living human who starts an RP must roll a 100-sided in their first post of the thread -- if you roll below 50, monster roleplayers are free to come into your thread at any time.
Humans have 60 hitpoints. Monsters have 100 hitpoints.
Monsters must wait after their first entrance post to attack, so monsters can only attack on the second post. You can attack however you want, monster or human. If your hits on a subject add up to 100 or over, that subject is OUT FOR THE COUNT. If you 'destroy' a HUMAN, they will become a MONSTER. If you 'destroy' a MONSTER, keep in mind that they CANNOT DIE (THEY WILL GO UNCONSCIOUS) but your human is FREE TO ESCAPE/THE MONSTER WILL BE 'OUT' THE REST OF THE THREAD.
IF YOU WANT TO ESCAPE, YOU MUST POST THAT YOU ARE ESCAPING AND ROLL A 100-SIDED DIE. IF YOU ROLL UNDER FORTY, YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY ESCAPED. IF YOU DO NOT ROLL UNDER FORTY YOU CAN POST AND TRY TO ROLL AGAIN, but you cannot just keep on doubling up posts trying to roll escapes. Wait for someone else to post first.
Your hitpoints recover after you escape or kill your way out from each thread, monsters and humans both.
The only way for a monster to be removed from play is if a monster FIGHTS ANOTHER MONSTER and WINS, in which case YOU HAVE BEEN BLOOD SUCKED and can NO LONGER MOVE. You are NOT DEAD, but you are OUT OF PLAY.
Monsters CANNOT ATTACK Negaversers. Negaversers may order monsters to do their bidding at ANY TIME. You are a FUNCTIONAL YOUMA.
You do not HAVE TO ATTACK. You are completely free to ROLEPLAY AS YOU WILL. But keep in mind that NOBODY WANTS A ZOMBIE ON THEIR LAWN.

Final admin note: I want this to be more fun-based and about roleplay than about KILLIN' EACH OTHER -- that's just how the dice roll should you want to attack. Just because a youma can enter the thread doesn't mean you can't have a normal roleplay, you can just roleplay with the youma! The guys are still sentient, and it's all up to (slightly evil, starving) personality as to what happens.
This isn't about getting a kill count, and it shouldn't be bean-counting unfun. Feel free to give us feedback as to whether or not this isn't working, and we can adjust as follows!
