Should I be posting this here? Instead of making a manga adaptation of TRY, Knight of the Aqualord was born to replace it. Unfortunately, I'd been wanting a TRY manga. So now I"m stuck reading about a kiddo who's full of himself and must learn to use the power of the Aqualord instead of reading about ValGaav and all the teen angst and the magic. TRY was kind of special to me; it was the first season of Slayers I'd ever seen and it's my favorite. TRY seemed more relevant to the series; Aqualord was kind of off on its own. But Aqualord had Riksfalto, who I really liked. ;D So what do you think was the better series?

I kinda liked the alternate TRY, but I miss Filia and Xelloss too. I think the debate subarea might be a better place for this because this is more or less a debate.

Ok when I first saw this I had not read Knight of the Aqualord. Since then I have of course. xD
And I honestly think that I like Try more even though there were some things that I didn't agree with in either stories. Like Aqualord was just annoying because they made what's his face waaaay to over powered to bother. So seeing like Super Sayin powers in a Slayers series was like really um, lame... XD
I did also like seeing Riksfalto though! c: I was hoping to see some more action with her though so I was slightly disappointed. D:
