Apparently since this morning all posts made lately have been shooting to the top of the page, and the order is thus out of whack.

As of this posting it's still going on, and let me tell you: annoying.

But maybe this means we're getting new functionality in posting? Maybe it's the fabled "Last post" in Guild subforums? (I can wish can't I?)

What are your thoughts on what people are dubbing the "Worst Gaian Glitch Ever"?

EDIT: People are saying that topics created after this morning work fine with the new ordering (which makes sense). And posts before mid-Sept are also acting out of order.

This happened before, but it was fixed before most people noticed.. Now it's gone all day like this. And it's not JUST guilds this time, it's site wide. I mean.. How long does it take for Gaia to fix this?

Also, this is really starting to tork me like nothing else! I can't even post in my art thread because of it! It keeps throwing my new posts to the top of the page, or it edits a differant post that I made who knows when.

This shows that the bug is being worked on.

I'm looking into the issue but I don't have a lot to go on yet. I basically need to find a thread when that bug happens and pick it apart.

The Ops people told me we had a site outage on the morning of the 28th (which I think is when this all started). Shortly after, our database for Forums + Guilds had to be switched to the backup. I'm looking into whether that could have caused the glitch we're seeing.
