possibly. but that's assuming that that which is broken is unable to fix itself. it also depend on how long you go without fixing it. even those that are fixable will become unfixable eventually.

good...in that case who ever broke it baught it unless you yourself broke it in hwich case you baught it if it wasnt yours but if it was then you are just screwed and i guess we can only say sorry for your loss
once again, possibly. but that is assuming that what has just been broken has never been broken in the first place. then again . . . that also may not matter since in some cases it wouldn't be possible to prove that the object of dispute was actually broken. but, thinking like that, how would you know what was broken is even broken in the first place?
