Alright, gang, here's the scoop. I need some loyal, dedicated Crew to help me police subforums and threads. Somebody who's on every day... Somebody who loves music... Somebody who will be my slave who is responsible and works hard! In short, somebody like I hope you guys are!
Some quick info about being a Crew member. You guys will have the power to post stickies and announcements. You will be able to lock, move, or delete threads. You will be able to edit or delete other members' posts. You will also be able to send invites to other non-Guild Members. These powers are very important when it comes to organizing subforums and such. However, they have the potential to wreak a lot of havoc as well. That's why I can't just accept any yahoo who applies. I ban any Crew member I find is abusing their powers. I also blacklist them on any guild I'm part of for life. I tell all my friends what a bad person they are. I ask them to tell all their friends what a bad person they are. We add them to our ignore lists. Sure, it's not a big deal, since Gaia's a big place, but you never know when you might run across one of those people and need their help.
Ok, enough scare tactics. Here's how to apply.
1) Fill out the following form.
Username:
Gaia Age/Join Date (you can find this by looking at your Gaia sig.):
Previous Crew/Thread Helper experience (include links to the other guilds/threads):
What Subforum do you want to work in?
Why do you want to be a Crew member?
Why should I promote you?
2) Post it on this thread.
3) Go about your normal business.
4) DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT post multiple times on this thread. Doing so will automatically disqualify you for Crew membership. I don't want to reread your application 18 hundred times. If I decide to promote you, you'll get a guild notification through PM. It'll include instructions on your first assignment.
5) Be professional about this. Your application is the only glimpse I have of you. If I don't like that glimpse, I'll delete the post and move on.
