Personality: Rude, over-confident, and anti-social; he often acts cruelly and rude. While loyal and respectful towards his superiors, he looks down on the rest of society, calling them 'maggots, fools, or worms'. He is also perceived as over-confident or cocky in his abilities. He believes that no normal person can surpass him. He also seems to drive others away from him, even joining Team Rocket to become the enemy of everyone else. He maintains his anti-social personality to ensure that no one depends on him and he holds no responsibility.
Biography: Albel was born in Viridian City where he became a trainer at the age of ten. His first pokemon was his trusted partner, Pikachu. He traveled with his partner, winning over each gym. It was when he was twelve that he heard rumor of a legendary pokemon near his hometown. He returned to Viridian City to attempt to capture the pokemon, but it proved too powerful and in it's rage, attempted to kill Albel.
To protect Albel, his father and mother took the brunt of the blow, though Albel's left arm was severly burnt. When the pokemon fled, Albel was terribly injured and his parents were gone. For the next five years he spent his time in the hospital, recovering from his injuries and shock. He felt a deep hatred towards himself for letting it all happen and so became anti-social to prevent others from saving him and getting hurt like before. When he was finally released from the hospital he had a steel gauntlet fitted onto his injured arm to hide his wounds and his shame of that day. After that he took only his first partner, Pikachu, and left Viridian City.
A year later he joined Team Rocket as a grunt, but quickly advanced to become one of their elite members. Now he views himself as a much stronger person for throwing away trust and becoming independant.
