S.G.H.M.U. stands for Supporters of Gaian Homosexual Marriages and Unions. It's an orginazation that two of my friends made after their marriage here on gaia. They are gay, and while they looked for help with their marriage, they found people to be very rude to them. So they made an orginazation to help other's like them and us who want to get married. 3nodding

That's where I come in. So far they are doing pretty well starting off. And they need some publicity. I would appreciate it (and Im sure they would too) if a few of you would join or bump everyonce in a while, or maybe donate a bit.

I would also like to ask if a mod or Tulip could make this into a sticky since they will link the guild in their thread. 3nodding whee

I will have to go and check that out. Looks pretty interesting, and it might be something that I can do while I'm on here.

Is this like protest for fake me out online marraiges? I support either way just because its one more step towards equal rights everywhere, but it seems kind of like the people in charge of this could be leading a protest much more effective in the issues of the outside world...

It's for online marriages. It's more like a support group than a petition. They want to help out people who want to get married on gaia because the guys who run it had a wedding here on gaia and they had a hard time finding a master of ceremonies and had alot of people coming in and bashing their marriage thread. It says it all in the first post.
