Ooh, this guy sounds good, lemme know what happens! And It seems like it would be totally cool to hang out with you. We gotta wait to save for any trips til we move though. Ho hum. I need to win some money or something, doing things the slow way takes forever.

It makes it that much better, though. You gotta admit that!
It'll take me forever to save money for a proper trip, and timing with all the bills is tough.
Carl/Vince is still interesting, and I'd like him to just ask me out to see a movie! If it makes him feel better, I'll tell him beforehand that I'm going to say yes. ^_^.

Sooooo....once again I need advice. There's this guy that I met through an online site. We've hung out a couple of times and even have a mutual aquaintance. (Gay guy at work that is super fun.) I decided to meet with this guy IRL because he had a girlfriend and I wouldn't have to worry about the whole "are we compatible" thing. The other night he starts texting me (which he does all the time) and mentions that he broke up with his girlfriend two weeks ago. Of course I gave him the usual sympathy shpeel about break-ups and then we started talking video games like nerds are prone to do. Then this morning he texts me and wants to hang out, go to the movie, maybe go out drinking tonight. I told him I could but only after eight since that's when I got off work. He replied that he couldn't because he was going to the races with a friend. I did the typical "That sucks, we'll have to raincheck it."
So I get off work and sit down in the living room, planning for a boring night when, once again, he starts texting me again. He kept saying how bored he was at the races and asked me to look up movie times. He then proceeded to ask if I wanted to go to the ten o'clock show. I say sure if you're in town. He then left the races and drove back just so he could go to the movie with me.
Now, tell me I'm reading too much into this. I denied it for the longest time but my roomie kept telling me that "This dude's into you." and I would say "We're just friends.". But after tonight I'm starting to get a little suspicious. What do you guys think?

Dude, he's so into you.
If he's a good match, why not try and see if he's not a total asswang when it comes to dates. smile If you don't like him, whatever. Kick his a** out of line.
Guy whose interest had me piqued "rekindled a relationship with Eve." . . . whomever That is. Now he hardly ever talks to me.

It went very well. We went out to eat, then we went to the State Fair and hung out at the petting zoo and then visited the carnival and had some fun on rides. Later we came back to the apartment and hung out on the couch and watched movies. We've already arranged what we're going to do next. We're such nerds because we arrange things over WoW chat and we decided to watch Battlestar Galactica since neither of us have seen it yet and maybe play a little WoW afterwards.

Okay, some might remember the guy whose arm I broke in grade school. . . he and I apparently have a LOT of nerdiness in common, and I'm hoping HE'S not taken because tons of nerds are disappearing. The girl/guy ratio in the Nerd world is extremely off-balance. ;_;
