This guild isnt very active is it, there are barely any posts , and no new topics. Does anyone have any ideas of how to make this a more active guild?

ummm, well I'm not so sure that inviting more people will fix the problem, a guild I'm in that I help my friend run has less people than this one and is more active. I think we just need to let the people in the guild know that were still around. If we just invite more people, it will most likely lead to more inactive members.

Well, Panda, you could make a guild announcement to remind everyone we're still here! I can't do that.
And, we could advertise the guild more than we are.
Steven, more people could mean the same inactivity, but usually all the guilds you see with many members are bustling little guilds building their way up.
Just depends on how active the people are, as in Gaia as a whole. I check Gaia everyday, but I'm not on it as much as anything else. Still make sure everything's going right.
Plus, think about all those other Sonic guilds out there. Sonic is a pretty big thing. There is a lot of Sonic guilds.
I mean, so far we're a really cool community by ourselves, right? We're all acquainted with each other.
I wouldn't mind a bit more people, I just don't want thousands of Shadow fangirls spamming the forums. I want to actually recognize people.
I'm getting a bit off track here..

I'm not saying that we shoudnt be inviting more people at all, I'm saying we should be making the guild more active before we invite more people. If we just invite people to the guild then when they check it out, they will most likely not post anything because there arnt any active topics. I havent checked, but I'm pretty sure that there are people in the guild who havent posted anything at all. I know I'm new here, but I want to see this guild stay active, and not die out. I'll ask a few of my friends if they will want to join the guild, and people should get there friends to join too, but the guild needs to be more active before we just ask people we meet to join. Panda, I know you dont really know me, but could you make me a crew member, that way I can ask my friends who like Sonic to join the guild?

Well, that's the reason I asked Panda to make a guild announcement, so that all our members would see that the guild still exists and we'd like it to be active! I'm only Crew, so I don't have the power to make announcements.
And if you want some people to join, you can just send their names my way~
Yeah, I agree with you there. We should make it active before inviting willy-nilly. But that brings me back to the beginning of this post..

So sorry for taking forever to reply, I've been on vacation and had to deal with a very bad internet connection, but I'm finally home now.
Sorry for not elaborating more with my post (like I said, the connection at my relatives' house is not good). Yes, the people here of course need to be active, but many of the people here are. The problem is that it's not very active because it's the same people posting over and over. We need new blood to liven things up! Advertising of course is a must. I usually flaunt the guild banner in most Sonic threads around the site from time to time which sometimes brings a new member or two to the guild.
Vulpachu : Yes, I should and will make a guild announcement to let everyone know we are still here and want this guild to remain active and grow larger. Like you said there are a lot of other Sonic guilds (most of which are also inactive because there's just so many guilds and the Sonic fans are too spread out); we need to bring them all to one guild - this one.
Now that I'm finally back from my Thanksgiving vacation I'll be able to devote more attention to the guild. Of course things will get busy for me again around Christmas, but I always try to make time for Gaia.
