I've never broken any bone in my body. The worst injury I have had is multiple cuts.

Last year though one of our alto saxes sprained her wrist a few days before a festival. What really showed how dedicated she is to band: She still marched the show. She didn't play, but she came and did more then just sit on the sidelines and look weird. We could hear people commenting on it later on.
One kid hurts himself every marching season, but this year, his senior year, he broke tradition(I think) Last year he broke something(I want to say foot, but I'm not completely sure. it might have been arm. Either way, he sat ina chair on the sideline) the year before was something about his collarbone, and I'm not sure about his freshman year.

My friend/neighbor seperated his shoulder the week before State competition.

Luckily, it was his left shoulder and he could still play...it sucked though.
Last year same time he screwed up his ankle and couldn't march...I sense a pattern with him xD
(Because of him, our BD has banned band football...which I'm not upset about but all the guys are, lol. But I digress.)

M'sorry you broke your wrist and I hope you get better soon!

my friend broke her arm in cheerleading, got a concussion, and sprained her ankle. she plays the clarinet, and our BD told us all to stay healthy and safe....lol....it sucked for her.

Our BD gets mad whenever people play band football, which is basically every weekend. People often get hurt, so he hates it. But, it isn't banned yet. Let us see how long that lastsXD

there was one band that i saw my freshman year...a guy was marching in a sling and cast...no instrument, but marching. it was kinda funny but hey...he still got to march. also, if any of our band kids get injured, our bd sends us to the pit.

Then the next season i was playing the Baritone

It was horribleee! i kept missing some notes~

I'm sorry you had broken your arm though, but i kinda sorta know the pain that you feel~
