here are some more common ones Agi - agility Str - strength Sta - stamina Int - intellect Sp/Spi - spirit MP5 - Mana Per 5 Port - teleport(lol, easy) Rez - resurrect
there are lots more but i can think of them
EDIT: they some-what fixed the database issue but some things still dont work

WTB - Want to Buy WTS - Want to Sell WTT - Want to trade (items not money) DPS - Damage per second ( like the off damage for a group) Tank - the person who takes all the damage in a group Healz - u guessed it! Aggro - kinda like the circle around a aggrasive monster and when u run in it and it attacks u... ok im not really explaining it that well so ill use it in a sentance ( Ill go aggro the boss, you guys stay back) probebly has to do with somthing along the lines off aggresion OMW - on my way WTF - What the f*** OMG - ohh my god guess those are obvious but i had to put em razz ATM - at the moment AFK - Away from keyboard BTW - by the way BRT - be right there FTL - for the loss FTW - for the win GTFA - Go the f*** away (( i seem to use this one alot )) LF - Looking for______(( whatever ur looking for goes there )) LF#M - Looking for # (( for u lesser being that means number )) more so however more your looking for of that item of group member LFM - Looking for More GD - Good duel NT - Nice try Fail - u put anything in front or behind of it when u beast another player for example ( epic fail, fail cake, fail sauce, )
those are all those i can think of for now.... and im not listing all the dungeons and there names so ur ganna have to google it or somthing

Well most common ones are LFG,LFM,and H(heroics or a harder dungeon) ninja anyways oter ones sum ppl never even heard like MG(Mohawk grenade) depending on server...wouldnt matter much tho...other ones are meant to b left unsaid....like erp o.o (erotic roleplaying)....i dont need to say anything about tht one =D...just dont doit

LF - Looking For ___ LFG - Looking For Group LFW - Looking for Work deeps - DPS, damage, etc. tank - The one who takes damage. heals - The one who heals. WTS - Wanting/Willing to Sell WTB - Wanting/Willing to Buy lvl - Level huntard - Hunter lock - Warlock DK - Death Knight pally - Paladin warr - Warrior ally - Alliance
Most dungeons are abbreviated as well. -Most common mistake though, there are 2 DM's, the lower level one (Deadmines) is usually VC, VC standing for the last boss in Deadmines, Van'Cleef. The higer one is Dire Maul, so that gets DM.

The higer one is Dire Maul, so that gets DM. I use DMVC for Deadmines, and DM East/North/West for Dire Maul when I want to abbreviate ... but I like to type the names out so people aren't confused. Back in TBC I started it when people got confused between the abbreviations for Sethekk Halls and Shattered Halls.

Threat - Something your tank has to establish, and something DPS (damage per second) should keep minimal. It comes from casting spells/abilities.
Aggro - Sort of like threat. When you have 100% threat, you have aggro. Only tanks should have this in instances.
Pug - Pull up group. This is a random compilation of players that have no previous association with you.
WG - Wintergrasp, usually. If somebody says "WG IN 5 MIN!" in trade, it means that the global PVP spot in Northrend is about to start.
AoE - Area of Effect. These are spells and abilities that effect enemies/players within an area, such as Arcane Explosion, Flamestrike, Rain of Fire, Blizzard, Howling Blast, etc.
LOS - Line of Sight. A LOS pull means that the tank (or you) is going to stand behind a pillar, wall, or some other obstructive object, to force ranged enemies to run to them. DPS needs to cease all actions during a LOS pull, until the tank establishes threat where they need to tank the pull.
CC - Crowd control. Nobody really uses it anymore, but it means to incompacitate an enemy during a pull. Example would be a rogue sap. Once the enemy is sapped, the pull will probably be initiated, and nobody is to hit the CC'd target. Other CC's include freezing traps, polymorph and banish.
