Far Northeast of Aekea lies the Chimera Village. Anybody who has visited it knows about the Chimera's independent and detached life from the rest of Gaia. But not many who have been there, and only a few of the Chimera themselves know of what lies in the sea beyond it besides a wonderful view.

Barely visible from the furthest outreaching point of land is a lone tower. To the naked eye it looks like naught but a dilapidated lighthouse separated from land by rainfall or other geographical anomalies and left to fade into disrepair. The tales from any who would notice it claim that once so often, a light would be seen sparkling in the sun form the tower, as if some poor soul was once stuck there, forever to haunt it. But to any who ventured up to it at the right time would realize that the tower was not haunted, but the sunlight was reflecting off streams of silver and gemstones inlaid in the stones itself, half covered by algae and moss. While there are no entrances at the ocean level of the tower aside from thin slits in the wall, there is a trap door at the top of it bolted shut and immovable.

Anybody with the means of approaching from under the water would be in for a sight as the tower was merely a tower indeed, but one attached to a large stone castle seated on the ocean's floor. There were many spires, but only the one was tall enough to breach the surface. And unlike the tower, the rest of the castle was still in pristine condition, the gems and and intricate designs unmarred and glimmering from what sunlight made it to these depths. No signs of life aside from the tropical aquatic species are present letting one assume the castle was abandoned.

But any treasure hunters beware, for as marvelous a sight as it seems, a large shadow is often seen circling the castle, keeping a wary eye on all who approach. You have just entered the realm of Tasmine Orrin, the Queen of the Great Deep, a leviathan of legend.

'Interesting...'

A particular young man thought as he entered the grounds of the chimera village. All was silent that night, not a sound nor a sight, as a young man named Virgil made his appearance. Soft melodies came from a violin amidst the area around him, and a young man kept trekking through the eerie silence of the village. His saffron yellow-brown eyes glowed iridescently in the lunar rays as his body seemed to be in motion with a brown object in his hands tucked under his chin. And if one would listen closely enough, they would hear the faint sounds of an elegant Redwood violin playing in a somber yet graceful tone of the midnight. Notes seemed to stream from the instrument with a gentle ease refined from years of skill, and to one's surprise, the player looked quite young for someone of his talent.

He had pale porcelain skin with no visible flaws over a well built 6 foot figure. He wasn't hulking, but was quite lean and strong in the esthetic sense of a water polo player or soccer player. He wore a black battle based long-sleeve coat. The linings of the coat were in silk, with subtle wool interior to keep him warm as well as two slits for something that was yet to be seen. With the coat, he wore a pair of long ebony pants, with azure flames kissing the bottom of the smooth and flexible linen material. Along with this, he wore a pair of subtle blue, lace up shoes, were at the rim along the area below the top between the laces and the sole there was a plating of bleached, light alloy plating that looked like it was used for kicking. He also had a pair of fingerless gloves equipped that had metal plating on the top of the hands with heavy studs on the knuckles, but a soft suede in-layer for the palms from the look of it since his movements along the neck of the instrument were smooth and unhindered. NA don his back, there was a black velvet case that was shaped like a violin case but look far too big for just a violin, and more like a guitar for size.

Regardless, this rather handsome fellow, the man named Vigil, had straight midnight hair with a very bright shade of bleached blue at the tips of the hair up front and on the back. The tips of which cover a certain amount of hair for each strand, and made a unique color spectrum for Virgil hair. The hair was longer up front, but very well trimmed and maintained in the back, and the hair flows quite far into his face, making a slightly concealed look, but he has it done so that his facial features can still show clearly in the spectrum. His eyes, priory described, were a complimenting to his button nose which was long enough to balance the two out the two extremes of a long pointed nose and flat button nose to make a well shaped nose that compliments his face in general. On the center of the top of his nose, Virgil had a X-shaped scar that goes to the tip of both his cheeks but didn’t go very far past the nose up top. His lips were smooth, and his left ear has a slightly larger lobe at the end from old earrings but is quite normally sized. All and all, his face is quite striking.

The young man continued till he hit shoreline and peered into the vast expanse of the ocean. His saffron yellow eyes gazing into the Moonlit ocean waves as he caught sight of the lone tower appearing in full before his powerful eyes. He continued to play all the while doing this and sat down on the cool sand beneath him as he finished his Requiem as a sign of hope before the storm...

The violin's somber music flowed across the waves, drifting in the air around the spire. The few gulls cawed and drifted lazily in the air, but ultimately the music fell on deaf ears. The waves continued to drift up to the shore, nipping at the toes of the young man harmlessly. The sunlight poked from behind the thin cloud cover, revealing a glittering light in the tower, bright enough to see from the shore.

Virgil stopped the playing and slowly began to untuck the violin from the base of his neck. He glared at the tower now with a new found interest as he eyed it's every detail with hawk like Saffron eyes. A heavy clasp was made as Virgil opened his case to reveal his obsidian axe and his pure white ivory buckler. He strapped the shield on his back while making enough room for his wings to appear, and strapped the axe by it's marble handle on a strap attached to his belt and his pants. He then released his wings, the grey with whitish hughed color making a beautiful appearance complimenting his body style. Similar to the color shade on the tips of his hair, towards the tips of the feathers on the bottom, were the white hughs of the lighter colored feathers and they made quite a match to Virgil's hair. The wings covered a total span from wing tip to wing tip of about 13-14 feet, meaning the wings cover an individual span of around 6 feet or a little more from the shoulder and the shoulder width and with the chest which is around 2 feet. The wings flapped gently in the breeze, as Virgil let the cool winds warm his wings up.

And then, with an easy two strong steps, Virgil flung himself at the current, let his legs drag behind him as his arms lay parallel to his wings, as a gleeful expression of raw delight filled his face with warmth in the ecstasy of flight for this Garuda incarnate as he flew towards the tower...

In the tower, the cascading wall of colors wasn't from the anceint gems or silver detailing. A woman stood against the far wall, her back to the beach he would be approaching from. Her midnight hair hung midway down her back, two tufts styled upwards to give her appearance of feline ears. Her body was covered in what one could call armor, albeit very conservative in the materials. The object giving off the shimmering, however, was a large sword, just a touch bigger than a b*****d sword leaning beside her. Lethally sharp along the longer edge, the curved backside was riddle with teeth.

She paid no mind to any sounds that would suggest somebody was approaching the tower, instead only looking placidly at the expanse of lake.

Virgil continued to fly, the inexhaustible pleasure of flight seeming expansless until he reached the high point of the tower where the young lady with the beautiful ebony hair and b*****d sword lay gazing into the ocean. Virgil first gathered her attention by doing a semi-formal bow, similar to how a woman would curtsy when greeting a man in order to acknowledge presence (though it does give some sense of equal rank). But during his bow, he not once bowed his head, since he didn’t want to show inferiority nor disrespect since the gesture could represent either or to himself or the woman. Then, as a bold gesture to break the ice, mostly due to his confidence from the glorious thought of flight, he gently approached, and giving a steady eye contact signifying that this gesture was coming and took her hand. He held it up to his face and fell slightly on his back right knee in a rather romantic gesture of greeting that only he would do with his kind of boldness.

“And to whom do I have the pleasure of addressing?” Virgil would ask in a calm and smooth tone as he would retain the eye contact with his saffron eyes and his collected porcelain face.

The woman paid no mind to the man that landed behind her. She remained in silence, ignoring his presence until he approached her. She didn't turn quickly, for such an action would seem offensive and she didn't feel that was the case yet, but turned to face him as reached for her hand. She watched him for a moment, waiting to see what he would do, but as he raised her hand to his face, she yanked it back suddenly. It remained up and to the side near shoulder height as several ideas of smacking this man crossed her mind.

"And why do you care, aside from trying to inquire into whose territory you just intruded without permission?" Her response was curt and to the point, as her emerald eyes flashing a brief crimson as she looked down at him.

Virgil stepped back, and then bowed fully this time as a show for an apology, but never did he one get to his knees to apologize, although he did put his head down. He then unbowed again, and stepped back a few steps and fell on a knee as he would then speak in a calm and clear a tone as possible.

“I apologize; I did not consider for a moment that I could be barging into another’s territory, or that my form of mannerism that is considered proper for my culture could be offensive to another. I hope I hath not offended you, ma’am...”

Virgil said as he then got up fully and raised his obsidian axe from his side holder and raised it to his chest for a proper introduction and a salute, since he figured she was some kind of royalty far beyond his knowledge.

“I’m Virgil Attis de Dantés, the Garuda incarnate and holder of the Garuda Attis. I come in curiosity and peace, ma’am, since I find this domain rather intriguiging for my studies.”
